My wife's father lives in Summerfield Senior Living. The first thing I noticed visiting there was how clean the place was, even the laundry room. I was impressed. The staff is very, very friendly and helpful. He got a one-bedroom apartment downstairs with a little patio and his own bathroom. It's nice. He loves the meals. He says they're excellent. The dining area is also very nice. They have a pool table, puzzles, cards, a big-screen TV, and a fireplace that makes it cozy. They also bring in entertainment weekly to do sing-alongs with them. If he needs anything, he just asks and they do it for him.

Summerfield Senior Living was very nice. We were very impressed with it, but it's beyond what my sister's going to be able to afford. It was clean, spacious, and very welcoming, the decor, furniture, library, open areas, and the outsides were available. The staff showed us the vacant room without the furniture in it, both sizes, and they were very well done. My wife and I both thought they were fine. We wish we could afford that for my sister, but it's not possible. Patti who did the tour was excellent. She's very knowledgeable, provided the information, and listened to the questions. The activities room and the dining hall looked very comfortable and very inviting. Other activities that she was telling us about that were available slowed because of COVID. It's very well maintained inside and out.

I went to Summerfield Senior Living and had a tour with Patty. She just did a really quick tour with me, because they didn't have any openings (which I wish they have communicated with me so I wouldn't have taken my time to even view that place. I could have gone and used a view to another place). It looked nice. It's kind of in the back of an apartment complex, so it was not eye-appealing. I didn't know where it was so I had to go down an alleyway to access it. It was really clean though and Patty was nice. The dining room was very big and open. They have an activity room and a walking area for the residents.

We toured Summerfield Senior Living. The people are personable. They care. When we went, the thing that we noticed first was that there was a lot of stuff for veterans; there's a lot of veterans that live there. With myself being a veteran and my stepdad being a veteran, it made my mom feel a lot more at peace and a lot more relaxed because they had so much military around there. It made her happy. We're still working on the paperwork. The staff was personable. They were a joy to talk to and great people. They went out of their way to be really nice, and they were really open to questions. The rooms were excellent. They were beautiful rooms they could decorate anyway they want. The people that were there seemed very, very happy. They have a game room, a library, the dining room (we got to see that). There was a salon. We got to see the laundry room. It was great. I think we had cookies and some coffee; it was good. It was also ten minutes from our house. We just liked it. We loved the staff. It wasn't just the person giving us the tour, it was also the caregivers and things like that. We also talked to some of the physical therapists through a friend of ours. It was one of the reasons why we went the first time. We heard really good things about it.

Summerfield Senior Living was a nice community. However, they had a COVID outbreak there, so we were very limited on what we could see, but what we did see was nice. We saw the rooms, but we didn't see any residents out doing anything because they were limited at the time to their rooms. The facility was clean. We saw their dining area and they have a large courtyard, and those were nice. The staff was excellent. The gal we spoke with was extremely helpful and friendly and answered all of our questions. It's very well maintained. Their yards were immaculate, very clean, kept up, landscaped, and very pleasant to look at.

I visited Summerfield Senior Living, I was very happy with them. Before the pandemic, my husband's caregiver was taking him there for a chair exercise class once a week and we paid a small fee for that. My husband enjoyed that very much, and I've had follow-up calls from them to ask about my husband and how he's doing. And I think that's been very thoughtful for them to do that. So in all, the care seems very good there and everything. My biggest problem there is the traffic, and it would be a little more time-consuming and difficult through traffic for me to get there. I had a hard time finding it. But other than that, I would rate it very high. I personally like their patio and the garden was good too.

Summerfield Senior Living was a clean and well-run facility. Everybody was nice. I spoke to a lady by the name of Brenda, and she was very thorough, very thoughtful, and seemed to be genuinely interested. It was just a little dated because it was probably built in the 70s, but the rooms were fairly large. It's just that some of the rooms I think had half hard floor and then half carpeted floor, so I was surprised. Being an assisted living place, I thought it would just be all carpet making it easy for people with walkers and stuff to move around in. They also had med techs who would do the medication monitoring. Meals were provided. They had activities, a garden, scheduled tours to go shopping, and a lot of games and activities. I think it was a clean and an affordable option. This was kind of in Marysville, which was 40 miles north of Sacramento. The pricing was a little bit more competitive or more budget friendly.

We looked at the apartments at Summerfield Senior Living. It was very good and clean. They had a social area and dining room. The staff member who showed us around was good. She showed us two different sizes of apartments, and they were both good. The facilities were clean, nice, organized, the dining area was nice and big, and they showed us the area where there could be gardening. It was well maintained.

My father will be moving into Summerfield Senior Living. We chose them because they were the first ones to call and tell us that there was an opening. The staff has been very gracious, very caring, and they called me on a numerous basis. The activities seem adequate. They have bible study and other activities.

Summerfield Senior Living is an older facility, but it's well run. The food is good, and the staff is good. They're all very caring. It's a very nice place, but they will not allow pets. It's large, but it's pleasantly laid out and residents can wander up and down the halls. The halls are well appointed with many paintings and statuettes. It's all on one ground floor. The dining area is upscale. There's a game area that's bright and cheerful, a sitting and computer area, a library, and an on-site hairdresser. It's a nice community. I have a friend that's in their memory care section. Medications are administered by staff. The food is very good and well presented on nice China, there are goblets, nice silverware, cloth napkins, and the residents are served at their table. They have a chef. I had a nice dining experience.

The people at this facilitated have become my valued and competent partners in helping me and my family meet my mother's very specific needs during this difficult time in her life. Summerfield staff and administration have listened to me, guided me, laughed with me, and hugged me when I needed it most. They obviously love my mother. They graciously accept her, no matter what her mood or behavior is at any given moment. They handle all of the work associated with her long and ever changing list of mediations with apparent ease. I could go on and on about the literally dozens of people who have helped me with unique and distressing challenges I was having with my mother on a given day. I jokingly tell everyone that I am planning to live there in a few years when I need some extra support in my life, and I expect them all to still be there for me the way they have been there for my mom. I could not give them a higher recommendation.

The staff at Summerfield always go out of their way to ensure that residents and family are treated with dignity and respect at all times. Staff communication with family regarding resident status is proactive and clear. Issues raised to management are addressed fully and quickly upon notification. The facilities are exceptionally well maintained and tastefully decorated. A large range of activities are offered to residents on a frequent and regular basis. Staff thoughtfully ensures that all residents are engaged as appropriate and fitting with their individual needs. Regular activities include occasional bus trips to various restaurants for lunch and other viewing of other local attractions. The med tech staff does a reasonable job of seeing that residents receive physician ordered care and ensuring that prescribed meds don't run out unexpectedly.

My mother is a resident of Summerfield Senior Living. I have been very impressed by the staff. They are caring, helpful, friendly, and compassionate. They are a joy to work with. I live in Colorado. I sleep very well, because I am not concerned about my mother's care. The food that I have had at Summerfield has been quite good. Mom says she likes all aspects of being there. She gets along well with the staff and they take a keen interest in her and how she is doing. The staff is responsive to her needs and desires. Mom is happy and seems to be doing well at Summerfield for which I am very grateful for. All I can say is Thank You to the staff.

Dad has been at Summerfield for a number of years. He is happy, cared for and the family is glad he is there. I receive a call immediately if there are any issues. They have activities daily to interest and stimulate the residents. Also, they hold special events and bus trips of a broad variety. Dad is a Veteran, as well as many resident men and women. Summerfield honors them in many ways.

Summerfieldl's memory care community is very impressuve. They are less expensive with more staff members and more qualified staff members (medically speaking). The place is cleaner, brighter, and open, and everything about it is more welcoming and not depressing at all. The private room I chose for my mother is absolutely spacious, and it's very nice. They have every activity, from puzzles to games they play to try go get their memory going, to bingo, card games, and they have a library, and all kinds of activities for her. The residents always seem happy, clean, and have had no complaints about the place at all. The room has a lot of large windows for natural light to come in.

The staff was all very professional at Summerfield Senior Living. I actually put down a deposit for a room for my mom. It was the best option available. The room was small, but my mom doesn't need anything big, and it seemed clean. The residents looked fine, and I don't think anybody was unhappy or upset. The manager was very polite. The facility looked clean and everything looked fine.

I was very pleased with what I saw at Summerfield Senior Living. The residents were like living at home with their own furniture. Everybody's happy, and some of them still drive. It was very clean, and it had a feeling of happiness, which made me feel good. I saw the activity room, and the dining room was very comfortable and not really formal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The courtyard and sitting areas were open, fun, decorated, and clean.

I visited Summerfield Senior Living and spoke with the marketing director who was very gracious, knowledgeable, did an excellent job telling me how they operated the facility, and gave me the information about the costs and their facilities. I would recommend it to anyone who was looking for an assisted living facility because it looked well maintained and clean. I sampled the food, and it was excellent.

Summerfield was a very beautiful place, and the people were very nice. It reminded me of a high-class hotel. We saw the nice community room. They don't leave the people in their rooms; they take them out, which was nice.

I wasn't really impressed with Summerfield Senior Living. I guess the atmosphere was not very welcoming. The facilities were OK, and the rooms weren't lacking anything but at the time, I wasn't that impressed. I'm sure the staff is fine.

Everything my mom is going to need was at Summerfield, and it was close to home. They have ice cream socials, monthly eating, and dinner with people, and the room is adequate. The food is fine; she is happy with it. They have menu, and the food looked like they were home made.

We choose Summerfield for my mom mainly because it is local. I like this place. My mom is in a companion room that's large enough to each have their own bed, night stand or lamp, chair, and dresser. They have their own private bathroom and a kitchenette. The staff gives 24/7 care, and the service is fine. She has been there for a month and a half. They have a chef on staff who cooks three meals a day plus snacks, coffee, and juices, whatever they want. They keep them very active, which I like. They have a schedule of things for them to do all day long. There areexercise classes and games for everybody like memory games or watching a program together.

I visited Summerfield Retirement and the interior and physical was just gorgeous, pretty, new, very clean, and upscale. The lady who showed us around was very nice, sat down with us, talked, and explained their facilities and what they offered. The rooms were large and I have an aunt that lives there and she is well-satisfied with the food. We saw people mingling and interacting and my aunt is very pleased with the activities. They have outside activities where they take them in little buses to different events, and they have people come there. The director is willing and open to listen to their ideas of what they want and try to accommodate their needs. The pristine condition of the building is what I like the most.

My mother is in the memory care unit over at Summerfield. I’d give it a good mark all the way around. They take pretty good care of her. It’s very clean and it’s well staffed. They let me know if there are any problems or any concerns, or if I have any questions. They also do activities and stuff. It’s reasonably priced for the area, so I’m happy with it. I wouldn’t have put her in the other choices in the area. There was another place in the area that was a little bit less expensive and it’s also nice, but it’s a little further drive. So price is a big consideration but the convenience for us to be able to see her is also a factor. I’d highly recommend it Summerfield for the Yuba City area. It’s a good facility.

I felt that this facility was a very nice place. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The residents all seemed happy and were friendly with eachother. When I walked into the building, I was greeted with a smile and asked if I was there to visit a resident or tour the facility. I stated that I was there to take a tour and they were very friendly about showing me around. The bathrooms were clean, the hallways were clean, and I noticed that all residents were clean and dressed for the day, whereas in other facilities I had noticed that most residents were still in nightgowns and appeared depressed. I felt good about the fact that there was an alarm on the door in case any confused residents walked out the door without being buzzed through. This is important to keep track of alzheimers patients. I know I spelled that wrong, sorry. Anyhow, this place is in the top running for places for my grandfather to live as he will soon need assistance.

I really loved this place and had no regrets when i placed my mother there when her dementia started increasing. The staff has very nice and it felt like a home to my mother and the food was not to bad the cooked 3 meals a day and provided snacks to her whenever she wanted. They also would transport to all of her appointments so I didnt have to worry about her missing any appointments. They also had activities for her to join in like bingo and card games and lots of stuff to keep them active and there mind working. I really enjoyed summerfield everytime I came to visit my mother. The place was also very safe and secure they have a buzzer system for people to come in and if you are not buzzed out than the alarm goes off so staff can check to see who went out the door. Which comfort me to know if my mother was to get confused and think she was younger or try to take off they would know and stop her and comfort her so she wouldnt be running around the streets or get hurt.
