My mom is in Meridian of West Hills. The place is good. They have a new manager there, so they're working on a few things, but we wouldn't have put her there if we weren't happy with it. The staff is very good. They do what other places do. They have exercise classes, they play games, they have a lot to do, and she really likes the food. The one time I ate there, I didn't like it, but another time I was there for lunch and it was fantastic. There is a ton to do. I have no complaints except for a few small things, and those were handled and taken care of.

The rooms vary in size, some quite tiny others quite big- commiserating with price. All have Wall Unit A/C. Building and grounds are attractive and clean. The staff is nice, but tons of turnover. Only one employee remains in the past year. The issues: - Place is infested with roaches and has been since October, with no end in sight. Every visit I see roaches running around my parent's room despite them trying to eradicate. - The internet is free, but is 0.17mbps, so it's too slow for netflix or Doctors Televisits. Many requests to have it repaired were met with confusion and instead a new coat of paint in the lobby to lure fresh occupants. - In the past year the food has gone rapidly downhill. It's sad. - Each year they raise the rent, this January they had a 13% raise in rates for basic room. So be sure your retirement is sufficient, or you'll be stuck moving out in a year or two. - Activities: Poker, and their Yoga class is them popping in a video once a week. Very lame activity options.

We liked our tour at Fallbrook Glen of West Hills. It was pleasant and very friendly, we met one resident who had her dog with her. The staff who gave the tour was very friendly. We observed a single room and a double room, they were both very well-lit and very spacious. They said we could paint and decorate in any way that we want to. They have a wall airconditioning unit, a spacious closet, one bathroom in the single room was spacious, and the bathroom in the double room was smaller but they said they were going to remodel them. The facility looked clean and well-kept. They have two large backyards, one for assisted living and one for memory care. They have walking paths, they have grass and trees, and lots of seating. Family members are invited to come at any time.

My mother is in Fallbrook Glen of West Hills. The memory care unit is about 16 people, and it's a nice facility. The staff has been good so far. She has a private room with her own bath and shower. The activities are not that good as of yet. They have chair exercises, ball exercises, and buses to appointments.

The people at Fallbrook Glen of West Hills (Formerly Meridian of West Hills) were very nice. It's assisted living and there were people with walkers, they looked sad, and some didn't talk. Other than that, everything was perfect. The place was very clean and very elegant. The menu looked very good. I saw the entertainment room, the parking area, and the places where they can stay outside and where the dogs can stay. They take care of the residents. The rooms didn't have kitchens, but you can have a coffeemaker or a microwave yourself. They cannot add too much because they don't have room for it, and the closet was small.

I visited this community. The sales director was very pleasant and very nice. They have a nice bistro, and the dining room looked pleasant. They were all welcoming, I saw one room, it was fine, but it could have been a little larger. I think they need to put in a couple more 1-bedroom apartments, but everything was good.

I like Meridian of West Hills. It doesn't have lots of bells and whistles, but it has a homey feel. It's not as big or open as the other places I've visited, but they have a nice garden area where they can barbecue. The staff was very nice and friendly, and they seemed to really encourage family members to come in a lot. Their only limitation is that they don't take trips to places because their bus/van just can't accommodate many people. The positive is that they're directly across a Fallbrook mall with some restaurants and it's just an easy walk if you want to go shopping.

My father-in-law moved to Meridian of West Hills in September. The place is fine and willing to work with us on his diet. He's enjoying Bingo and drawing, so he's been having a lot of fun. The staff seems dedicated. My father-in-law has a studio which is large enough to hold a bed and a couch.

My dad is in memory care at Meridian of West Hills. I liked the staff best of any facility. It was reasonably priced and they have a lot of promotions. It was a good value. The rooms are not as nice, but they're plenty adequate. The food is pretty good.

I ended up putting my dad in the Meridian at West Hills. He has only been there for a few months, but I don’t have any complaints. So far, he’s been happy. We picked the location because he has lived in the area for 30 years. He kind of does his own thing, but he also does some of the activities; he likes the music appreciation and the yoga. The only negative I have is that it is a little on the older side.

Alzheimer's and Dementia are at epidemic proportions. As a loving caregiver of many years to my husband the time came to find a residential Memory Care placement that could give him the best care possible. Meridian exceeded my expectations. The qualities and amenities I found were: a caring kind staff, a clean bright facility, well appointed comfortable roomsI, a young hip activities director, a hands on management and administrative staff, a kind creative executive chef who goes the extra mile to please the palates of all the residents. And there are outings, holiday celebrations and special events that family members can take part in. You can visit at any time and see for yourself.. Have a meal in the dining room with your loved one. Take a walk around the grounds. And before believing any reviews, I urge you to visit, ask questions and make up your own mind.

My parents are at The Meridian of West Hills. They are fabulous. The place is excellent. It is beautiful. Their staff is caring. Their food is delicious. The executive director is passionate towards the care of the residents. I have nothing but thumbs-up and positive remarks regarding The Meridian. It is the top choice.

I just walked in and looked at The Meridian at West Hills. It’s nice, has a homey feel to it. It’s kind of a gentle place; it’s not rushed and hurried. It’s quiet, and they take care of seniors well. All of the people are very nice and accommodating. The food was fine. They have everything. They have religious services, art class, movies a few times a day, bingo, and trips to various places. They have a full itinerary. The rooms are not terribly big, but they’re quiet and they’re clean and well maintained. A lot of them have their patios and balconies, which are very nice. I think they can improve in communicating with the medical management team. They seemed to have a hard time giving people the medicines that they need.
