We have chosen Prestige Assisted Living at Visalia for my father-in-law. The staff, the facility, and the location are the reasons why we chose them. The staff are awesome. We had lunch there one day with my father-in-law, and the food was very tasty. They have music, they have games, and they took my father-in-law out for ice cream. It's very clean. There's enough space. My father-in-law has his own small apartment, but there are common areas that are very comfortable and very inviting.

I toured Prestige Assisted Living at Visalia. It was very nice. It was very clean. It didn't smell. Everybody there was very nice. The rooms were nice and large. They have a refrigerator and stove over there. The staff was very knowledgeable, very sweet, and caring.

Prestige Assisted Living at Visalia was very nice. I saw an apartment, which was very nice. The facilities were clean and pretty. In the dining room, everybody can eat there at once and it's a limited amount of people, so it was very nice. I was impressed. They have the commmon dining area and they have a large yard and a patio out in the back, which is very pretty. They showed me a calendar of their activities. It seemed pretty all-inclusive. The staff who gave me the tour was very nice and very informative and answered all my questions.

My wife was in Prestige Assisted Living at Visalia at the memory unit. The facility was nice but she was able to get out of the facility a couple of times, which concerned me somewhat. The staff was helpful, her room was very nice, and they tried to monitor her pretty much of the time. The facility itself looked well-maintained. They have transportation but they don't provide that for memory care. I was concerned that she got out two or three times, though the doors have a keypad. Overall, I was satisfied with the communication between them and me.

Prestige Assisted Living at Visalia was really nice and clean. The rooms were excellent. The staff was just as helpful as could be. I visited the memory care. The room layouts were perfect. My father could have his own room if he wants, like a little studio apartment, and it had a fridge in there and everything, which is good. The dining area was nice. He could have his two small dogs if he needs to. They had just finished eating, but they have quite a selection.

We went to Prestige Assisted Living at Visalia, and their amenities were somewhat limited. We looked at their assisted living, and we liked the layout. We liked how close it is to our home. It's very close to our house. We like the fact that my dad could get a ground-floor apartment. He does get out. He has a truck and drives. In case something happens, it's good because he could use his walker to get out easily to his car. We just thought the amenities were below what the other places offered. The staff was good, very informative, and personable. We like the gentleman that gave us the tour. Another lady came in and introduced herself. They were great.

I looked at the whole Prestige Assisted Living at Visalia. That was actually the very first place I went about trying to get educated before the need. I didn't want to wait 'til the last minute to inquire. I liked them very much and I thought it was nice. I liked the fact that when you walked in you could see the dining room. It looked more like a hotel, and you could order from the menu. One of the reasons why is because my friend has memory issues and she said, "Don't put me in a home." When you walk in there, it doesn't look like a home. It looks like a beautiful restaurant, so I liked that. That definitely would have been a memory place that would have been OK for my friend. They would have fulfilled everything she needs. The staff was wonderful, they took me through, answered all my questions, and showed me everything. I had no problem with the guided tour that I got.

Prestige Assisted Living at Visalia was more institutional compared to the other place I visited. It was a nice place, but it wasn't very cozy. The rooms were very nice. The staff member who assisted me during the tour was very business-like. She knew her stuff, but it was more of a business tour rather than a welcoming you to a home tour.

Prestige was very clean and hospitable and had well-furnished, equipped rooms and a nice dining area. The people are able to have their own TV.

Prestige Assisted Living at Visalia has outstanding, caring, very thoughtful, very kind, very patient, and wonderful people. The rooms are very clean and nice with new paint and new carpets. The dining area is beautiful with tablecloths and fruit, just like being in a restaurant or hotel. They have bingo, bible studies, excursions, and a little general store. They had an Easter Egg Hunt with the families which was awesome.

Prestige was a little expensive, but they were wonderful and the location was excellent. The tour was really nice, and the rooms and eating facility were nice. They had an elevator in the facility. People seemed to be very happy there. They had full staff, and the people that worked there were probably a little more qualified.

Prestige Assisted Living at Visalia was basically the same as the other facility, just that Prestige Assisted Living is an older building and it is physically not as well kept up. It started to look its age. The effort was being made to keep it very well-decorated and very lively looking on the inside, but on the outside, the trim around the windows and everything needed new paint. The units themselves were all newly painted and new carpeted, but that was not the case throughout the building in the common areas. But even so, everybody there seemed very happy with living there. There was a really good atmosphere.

I was impressed with what Prestige had, but they are a bit pricey and a bit out of our price range. They had their dining on the first floor. As soon as you walk in their front doors, you can see people dining, and I don't think that's very private. I wouldn't appreciate that if I was living there, dining and seeing people walking in the front door. But the staff was very nice, the people seemed happy there, and it was very clean and very pretty.

Our choice at this point was Prestige Senior Living. Our visit there was excellent. The people working there were very warm. The rooms were very clean and neat, and we selected them, so that should tell you something. They showed us what activities there were, but I didn't physically see them do anything. I would recommend them to others.

I moved my husband at Prestige a couple of weeks ago. It was close by and deals with people with dementia or Alzheimer’s. It wasn’t huge, but it was big enough that offers companionship and activities, and they have even seminars on dementia. They have all sorts of activities like shopping, and they take them few various things. The meals were pretty good too.

My husband's grandmother has lived at Prestige for the last 7 years. She is 95 years of age and is still very mobile and able to go to and from her room under her own power using a walker. She has made many friends, enjoys the activities that Prestige provides, and has been generally happy. Her only complaint is that the food tends to be on the bland side. The facility is always clean and well-kept. We've been very happy with the level of care she has received there. When she's ill, food has been brought in on a regular basis with the nursing staff checking in with her often. I would recommend Prestige to others in a similar situation.
