Everybody at Holiday Chateau At Harveston is very, very friendly. The workers here always have a smile on their face and they greet you in the hallways. There are a lot of people that have walkers like I do, but we still can independently get around and do things. The meals are very nicely done. They have a good chef and good cooks. If you have any requests about how you would like things to be cooked, they will do their best to do that for you. They have just taken a lot of pressure off, knowing they are taking care of me. They clean my room every week. I have to do my own laundry, though. I could pay extra to have it, but I'm able to do it myself. My room is right next to the laundry. So, it's more convenient for me than it is maybe for some other people. I wound up with a very nice studio, one of the larger ones that they have, because I don't use a bed, I use a recliner to sleep in. So, it feels very spacious. It has about 500 square feet, which is quite spacious for a studio. I was able to bring my cat, which was very important. They have meetings where you can meet the workers, like the chef, as an example. If you have anything you want to say or ask about, they will thoroughly explain it or fix it, if it's a problem. So, you have a chance to say something. They have resident meetings where you can do the same thing. They're very open to listening to anything you have to say if you want something improved. Somebody mentioned they would like music in the dining room, and within two days, they had it going. It was just quiet music for our meals. So, they're doing everything they can to make it pleasant for everybody. They share the work, too. They may be cleaning your room, but then at mealtimes, they're also your waitress or waiter. They work hard and they're very good at both jobs that they do. They're very pleasant, they're in uniforms, and I haven't had a problem with anybody. They had just recently repainted and updated all of the inside. As of this week, they just completely painted the entire outside, and my patio takes three different colors and they only just finished doing it. So, I don't know what else they could do to make it better. I was able to come in with a good discount because I came in at the end of the month, which I think is typical of most units or facilities (if you rent, they give you discounts further into the month). It is the best price I could find anywhere. The salesperson was able to adjust the rent and I was also waiting for the VA to come through, so that helped.

My mother has already been placed at Holiday Chateau At Harveston. She is most comfortable there. Her space is very clean and perfect for her. They get their meals served in the cafeteria, and cleaning services once a week. They have other things that they do to provide service to them. They have games and different things they can do. They have a library and I think they even have a salon there or get your haircut over there. There's plenty for them to do, and they take them out on outings. The staff is excellent, very nice, and very helpful.

We toured the Holiday Chateau at Harveston. It was excellent. It's beautiful. It's been refurbished. It's been totally redecorated, and it's very easy to get to stores. It's got a lot of stuff around it. It's really embedded in the local community, and the care there is excellent. We had lunch there, which was very good, and there were lots of choices on the menu. Our tour guide was excellent, very patient, and nice. There was a lot going on in there. There were a lot of people playing cards in different places and doing puzzles.

We came to take a tour and had a great experience. The apartment we found for mom and dad is so spacious and has lots of storage. They even have their own balcony. All of the residents are so friendly and everyone we met that works there came up to introduce themselves and ask mom and dad questions. They were very welcoming. We got to see some of the new renovations going on that look so nice and modern. They are redoing just about everything from floor to ceiling. We can't wait to see it all finished!

Great rooms, clean facility, decent meals. Staff friendly and various activities. Would like to see security cameras inside facility and in tenants rooms to prevent lost or stolen belongings. It’s 2023!!

Holiday Chateau at Harveston was fabulous, and they provide a different type of service. You have to kind of lay out what you need and what you don't need. They do have availability. It's actually a place for independent living, but they have two agencies that are there for assistance. What it does is, like for my dad, he is not on the same level my mom's at, and it allows him to be able to develop friendships with people that are a level above him. So, there's pros and cons, and it depends on what each family needs; it's individual. The apartments are wonderful. I went to one of their activities; it's all in a small community and it's wonderful. I saw a library, a movie room, a room for crafts, and a place to get your haircut. It's all there. The facility is very nice. In the activity, they had snacks and drinks and things. Everybody who was living there was partaking. After their activity they had a little party.

I had an in-person tour of the Holiday Chateau at Harveston. The staff member who toured us gathered all the people we would have needed to speak with at that time during our tour, so we could meet with them as well. They're very professional and knowledgeable. The price point with the kind of care that my dad would have required was pretty on point. It was a nice, clean environment. The residents looked happy and seemed to enjoy it. The residents were mostly independent, as I was able to see.

We chose Holiday The Chateau at Harveston for mom because my dad was there years ago, it is not an assisted care (therefore, it didn't require a medical review), and I'm also not locked into a situation where all the care has to be provided by the facility. I have outside alternatives that I can choose from and they are competitively priced. Additional care is provided by third parties, which happen to have a presence in the community. It is an independent living facility, but most of the people there are receiving various levels of care from third-party sources, which are less expensive than assisted living. It's an age-in-place kind of facility. At the facility, they provide outings, they provide transportation to outings, they have in-house classes, church services, organized card games and events, trivial pursuit types of games, and other activities that they provide there. It's all included along with meals. I've had the food. My mom eats what she can eat because she has no teeth. One of the drawbacks is they don't do custom diets because it's supposed to be independent living. They don't make adjustments to the food they prepare for individual residents, but there are quite a few things that are soft enough and easy enough for her to eat. The food's OK. It's not popular necessarily, but I don't know of any place that's popular for the food with older folks because most of them have lost their taste buds anyway. Their staff members are primarily just there for housecleaning, food preparation, and activities, but they're good. It's a nice facility, and it's kept clean and maintained. I haven't participated in the activities and neither has my mom, but from what I've observed of others taking part in the activities, they seem to be enjoying themselves. It's much more affordable and manageable than others because it's not a fixed rate that is determined by a scale that they decide upon. It's something that you have more flexibility and more control of and we as a family can provide more services, laundry, and things that may be optional at an additional cost if we choose to do so. Meals can be brought to her room for a small fee and that's generally what happens for her, but it's optional. There are a lot of things that are ala carte and optional.

I liked everything about The Chateau At Harveston. It was great. I think the number of activities they had stood out to me. Their dining area was a little more conducive to what my mom likes, and they had everybody eat at the same time, not on separate schedules, unlike some of these places where you have to be either on the 11:00 or the noon meal time. They do everything all together so that you get to meet everybody if you want to. They showed me three different rooms and they were very nice, roomy, and comfortable. They each had either a balcony or a patio, and so they have everything that we're looking for.

The Chateau at Harveston was a lovely independent living facility. There was a lot of hustle and bustle and activity to keep everybody entertained and comfortable. The staff was wonderful. The rooms were lovely and appeared to all have nice views. They're comfortable and had all the amenities that you would need. They had a game room, a library, and an exercise facility. There's kind of a park-like environment. The outdoor spaces were more like easy access to walking trails and a nice little lake, little shopping, and restaurant areas that were easily accessible.

The tour experience I had at The Chateau at Harveston was wonderful. It was my dad's favorite place so far. We liked everything about it, like the view. He is into having a view, and having a lot of closet space. The dining room was right inside and it was beautiful. Every building was painted a bright vivid color and it was really, really nice.

The three months we've been residents have been encumbered by the damn COVID virus. Nevertheless, we really like residing here. The food has been very good for the most part. The staff is wonderful throughout. Service is excellent. The spirit and congeniality are high and positive! We made the right decision moving here!

The staff did an excellent job in getting me settled in my apartment and helping me become part of the community. There has been a great change in routines due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the staff has done a great job in conforming to the new routines.

We chose The Chateau at Harveston for my father because the cost was better than the others for independent living. They have entertainment and people come in and show you their homemade goods. The dining area is very nice. The second floor has a game room, theater, and a library. I'm satisfied with his room. It's a very nice, large one-bedroom, and it has a refrigerator and a sink. You can get your meals downstairs in the dining area. The food is very good. You have set dining hours there, but they have a snack bar with fruit, coffee, and pastries. The staff is good. It's an older facility compared to the rest. The residents seem to have a very good time. They have an open bar night every now and then. The people like it there. They have underground parking, and you don't have to pay for it. It's a good value for your money.

The Chateau At Harveston wouldn't fit my mother because she needs help. It is close by my house, but it wouldn't be effective for my mother because of the care that she needs. It is nice because they have a courtyard. It is a little dated though. Overall, the people were very nice, and the staff was really good, the community itself and the environment were nice. At the time, we thought it was OK, but now, we have to pass on them.

My mother-in-law is living in The Chateau At Harveston, and it is a nice place. We had a few issues on them not keeping her room clean but now they're more attentive. Now they clean once a week and they do laundry service, but we pay for it. She has a really nice, full one-bedroom, and everything is very clean, neat, and very well-kept. They have Bible studies, a game room with puzzles, exercise, and they celebrate people's birthdays. The staff is very good. They have a beauty shop. My mother-in-law has had her hair done there, and they do a good job.

The Chateau at Harveston was a nice, clean place. Everybody was friendly, the food was great, and the rooms were wonderful. The staff was very helpful, nice, and happy. What I really liked was the one-bedroom. The only thing I was disappointed in was they didn't have a pool, but they had a couple pieces of exercise equipment, a social room, and a library.

I visited The Chateau at Harveston. I like the people who invited us there. I didn't like the food very much at that time, but they said they changed the chef. We might visit again because I like the place and it's beautiful. They showed us a one-bedroom apartment, which was nice and comfortable. They also had two-bedroom units and studios. They didn't have too many facilities, just a small gym and arts and crafts. They served three meals a day, and they could do your laundry or you do it yourself. Anne, the person who gave us the tour, was very nice, and I liked her very much.

The Chateau At Harveston was pretty good. I was looking for an apartment with a kitchen and there was no kitchen, so we decided it's not for us. The staff member we talked to was amazing. She kept in touch and invited me over for the downsizing seminar. She was great! I was invited for lunch on the day of the seminar, but I did not stay because I had other errands to run. It was pretty clean.

My parents have already signed up with The Chateau at Harveston. It was just friendly, and the location was perfect for them because where they have their house in Arizona is very similar, location wise, right in the hub of everything. I was there the other day, and they had a little golf game going on in the hallways, so that was kind of cute. My parents have not lived there yet, but every time I have gone over there, I have been very pleased. Everything about them has just been really great. They have laundry facilities, and they have a chapel. My parents are going into the manager’s apartment, so they have their own laundry and everything.

The Chateau was more independent living but offered services from the outside for assisted living. It was a really nice place that was easy to get to and in excellent shape. They offered three meals, and had a nice, huge dining facility.

The Chateau is very nice and super clean, and the people there were really happy. They have nurses to help. They have a library and a chapel. They did offer food, but I was in a hurry. It seemed like a pretty decent place.

The Chateau At Harveston was fine. We had lunch there; it was nice, and the people were nice. The prices were high, and the place looked nice. The dining area is nice, big, and open. The person who assisted me was very nice and answered all our questions. There were things to do all over place like billiards.

The Chateau At Harveston is beautiful, very clean, and very well lit. The dining room is easily accessible for my mom. The people are very kind and very caring. Mom likes the entertainers that come by weekly, and they also have arts and crafts, and Bridge. She loves the food. She said it's the best she's ever had, and she likes it even better than her favorite restaurant. The chef is always very kind to her and talks to her. The management is very kind. My mom is very happy there, and that's the most important thing to me.

The Chateau at Harveston is for people who want to be with a lot of other people all the time. It has a more crowded feeling. My parents like a more quiet environment, not seeing a lot of people all the time that’s why we did not choose this facility. The dining room can be seen as soon as you walk in the front door and it has a lot of residents eating at that time.

The Chateau at Harveston was very clean, nice and well-kept. Everything was in order. Most of the people there seemed to be very content. I went there for lunch and they had a very healthy meal. The activities were posted on the board. The layout and the landscape were nice. There's accommodation for handicapped and if you had a wheelchair, you could have easy access.

I visited The Chateau. It was good. This one is immediately located in my neighborhood. The building was clean and safe. The staff was informative. I didn't see any residents doing anything together, so they weren't acting like a home or a community. It seemed that everybody was separate because it is a more independent style where everybody does their own thing. There are group activities, but I just didn't see the residents interacting as a group. Security was good though. The Chateau is a beautiful facility, luxurious, and in a wonderful location. However, the concept of a home was not there, like I didn't see groups of people, I just saw individuals. That's what's some people would like. They like to be their own person and not be in a group, but I was looking more for a group setting. Also the rooms could have been a little bigger, a little cleaner, and fresher, but the location of the rooms and the amenities in the rooms were nice.

The Chateau at Harveston was very nice. One of the things I didn't like was the apartments were small. It had three stories, and it was more kind of a slow moving place, but they were very nice people. It's furnished lovely, but you have to eat your meals down in the dining room and I didn't care for that. They didn't have a stove in there, you had to have a microwave, and it just turned me off.

I had lunch at Chateau Harveston, I looked at some of their places, and I really liked them. It is a very nice place, they have good food, and they are very friendly; they always keep in touch. I have a couple of friends who have moved other there, and they seem to like it. They have a special program where if you would go out and travel, you can stay in some of their places in the other areas without paying because you would have paid here, so they got a really nice program. The people are just very attentive and very good. They were very welcoming, and everybody was very friendly.

Chateau had a very nice presentation with their hallways. The lady that talked to us and showed us the room was very helpful and personable. Their dining room was likewise presentable. The rooms were kind of small from what we had wanted but it was a very nice place.

What I like about The Chateau is that you're very independent there. You're given so much time to eat and that makes it very nice. Food is very good and you can also make some decisions in what you want, you just have to tell them. You do have some choice of continental breakfast which you would get quite a variety of. They have a program for all the activities that you can do down there, which makes it very nice. They would take residents out and go shopping and that you can go to the bank at that time. You can also make arrangements to go at other times to go shopping at some other places. They even have a library in there. They're very casual. I found the place to be very nice. Everything there seemed to be clean. They have a place where you can take your dog to go to the bathroom. All in all, I enjoyed the visit.
