My uncle Eden has been taking care of my aunt Rosie who has been dealing with health issues her whole life and once we noticed that her dementia was severe we were not going to let our uncle who is 83 take care of her at risk of something happening to them, so we looked into several places and found this senior living facility that to us seemed to be the cleanest, most updated and well staffed of all places. My uncle is there as well and will always mention how well they take care of our Rosie. I’m glad I could get him some peace of mind and support in taking care of her. This is a great place to entrust your relatives and know they’ll be taken care of well.

We went to The Village at Sherman Oaks. It was a large community. There were a lot of people to interact with. There's a pool, a beauty salon, and some places to walk dogs. It was just massive. The food was okay, too.

The Village at Sherman Oaks was a very wonderful place. It was very, very classy. We got a first-class tour of the place. The manager himself participated. We asked to see a 1-bedroom and a studio apartment. There were various activity rooms and there were various activities available. The staff that we met were very classy people and they were all very helpful.

I live at The Village at Sherman Oaks. It's wonderful. It serves all my purposes. They have everything here I could ever want. The staff is really good. I get a lot of medication, they deliver it whenever I'm supposed to get my medication, and they find me if I'm not in my room. They make sure I get all my meds because I have a heart problem, so I need to get certain meds at certain times. They have everything here: a library, dining rooms, and big rooms. It's a very nice place. They serve a lot of food. Everything here is good. I notice there are a lot of people moving in now. I guess a lot of people moved out when the COVID started and went home to families, but now that it's easing up, people are moving back in, which is nice, and it's filling up again. It's in a good spot in the area. You can go across the street to any place. They have everything that we need here. I'm not far from any place. I have a lot of friends here. The staff couldn't be better. This week is Gratitude Week, and we have to put the names of the people that we think have helped us the most. All the caregivers are unbelievable. The kitchen staff is good. Everybody is good. It's worth it. I never have to want for anything. I get everything here. It's wonderful. You walk into a huge, major room where they have couches and chairs and people can come in and walk around, and it's very nice. That's what attracted me to this place in the beginning.

The Village at Sherman Oaks was lovely and beautiful. I took my father when they had an entertainment, which was lovely. The rooms were very nice. They have a patio outside a small shop. It's like you're going on a cruise ship but you're not getting off in seven days. The staff member who assisted me was excellent. She has done excellent follow-up with me. The food was excellent too.

The Village at Sherman Oaks was a little smaller. They were going through some upgrades. It was a lovely facility but more expensive and not as luxurious.

The Village of Sherman Oaks was very nice. It’s a little older than the one in Northridge, and the units are not as well-appointed, but their grounds are beautiful. But my mother didn’t like the neighborhood so much. It was not really close to any shopping and amenities. They have tons of activities going on all the time -- Happy Hour, opera trips, theater trips, and music people and entertainers come during the Happy Hour time to entertain. They have a beauty parlor and a little gift shop, a billiard room, an Internet café, and massages.

The Village at Sherman Oaks was absolutely nice but very expensive and too large for my mother. The tour was wonderful. Everything was great. Everybody was wonderful.

At The Village At Sherman Oaks, the staff is very competent and seem to be caring and patient. The dining room is a little slow but other than that, it’s fine. I think the rooms are very comfortable. I have a kitchen, a living/dining room, and a bedroom. There’s a swimming pool, lectures, and movies. The food is good, except I eat organic foods, so I’ll be eating in my own apartment.

We visited The Village at Sherman Oaks and thought it was a very nice place. We have close relatives who live there who very much like it. We’ve visited them, so we know that they’re happy, and it looks like a place where they would be happy. Everything that we saw looked nice.

The Village at Sherman Oaks was very nice, clean, and very modern. The people were lovely. It had full kitchens, which were really nice, and a swimming pool. We had lunch there, and the food was very good. The dining room was open; you could go down whenever you wanted to eat.

I spoke with a gentleman and a woman who told us about The Village at Sherman Oaks, and they were very nice and informative. I saw the rooms and the grounds, and that was all. The rooms were clean and spacious. I went to two, and I like this better than the other.

The Village was a very nice facility. The place was well kept and the staff there was really nice. There seemed to be a lot of activities going on all the time. I would give it 5 on everything except the price rate. It was just out of our price range.

My mother-in-law was previously at the Village of Sherman Oaks and they were absolutely lovely there. It was just very costly and wasn't close to our home. It was more of a luxury situation. There were apartments for independent care and there was an area for assisted living. It was very, very nice but then again, it was very expensive. And they have a mobile doctor, so my mother-in-law didn't have to go to the doctor. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and very responsive. The food was okay and similar to a restaurant.
