I like that Creekside always has an actual registered nurse on staff. My dear friend was receiving antibiotics through an IV and the nurses displayed professionalism, knowledge, and cleanliness.

There were direct care non English speaking employees speaking Spanish to each other while attending to residents. The kitchen also employs people WHO DO NOT speak any English. In an emergency evacuation setting the residentscwould be put at-risk due to non-English speaking employees. Licensing should get involved soon and very soon.

I felt very safe as a patient at Creekside.

I've looked at Creekside. What I didn't like about it was that they hired people that didn't speak English, and they didn't feed you well. They just didn't suit my requirements. The rooms were OK.

I like Creekside because they seem to take the best care of my mom as they can. They have activities there, and although she is in a different circumstances, she is fine. They tried their best to keep her involved in the activities. The other residents seemed to really enjoy the activities, and I was also taking her twice a week to another facility for activities, but they could not deal with her any longer.

My sister was a patient in the "behavioral rehabilitation" portion of this facility, and a year later our brother was a patient in the skilled nursing portion. We were very disappointed with the care they received in both parts of this facility. We witnessed individual patients being subjected to unspeakable abuse, particularly in the behavioral facility. Although many of the nurses were well-intentioned, the policies of the administration/owners of this center are totally focused on profit, and totally unfocused on what is best for patients. We were afraid to complain about what we experienced, because we were told that the administrator would make things even worse for us if we did. There were numerous medication errors, a lack of reasonable cleanliness, poor supervision and oversight of non-licensed workers, and rudeness/disrespect to concerned family members. I would strongly recommend that any potential patients for this facility should research other alternatives. There are obviously some better choices.
