I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Creekside Healthcare Center is a great facility. My mom loves it there. They got a good staff to resident ratio. They offer activities, and their food is great. They have a shared room and a private room. The facility is clean and the room is adequate, but it is just a little outdated. The staff is very friendly, and they take great care of my mom. She loves them all. My mom does not eat food that she doesn't like, and she likes all their food. They offer a good selection, and they have hot meals for lunch and breakfast. They have movie nights. They do bingo. They just go out and do things. They also take the residents to doctors' appointments, and they have dental and eye vision check ups that come in.

I visited this facility

Creekside Healthcare Center was very clean, and they were very nice. The people seemed nice, and first impressions were nice. The rooms are clean, appropriate, and nice. They were double beds. It didn't have a smell, they were inviting, and they were not afraid to show me around -- which was a good sign. I actually stopped and asked a couple people who were sitting in a room "Are you happy here?" They were like "Yeah!" so I would give them a thumbs up for now.

I am a friend or relative of resident

This Facility looks simple and clean and quite ok at the first glance. But it is one of the most chaotic places I have dealt with. They are very neglectful, the nurses are lazy and have a bad attitude, very polite to you at first when they want to enroll your parent. They skip distributing the med, they are completely insensitive to the needs of the elderly, the food is very poor, often two slices of cheap white toast with cheap lunch meet and sugary cheap juices, they are very chaotic and often don't communicate. The actual administrators, are not even located at the facility but make all the excuses. I can't warn you enough! If the wellbeing of your loved ones matter to you, don't leave them there, go look somewhere else.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

Creekside Healthcare Center is a skilled nursing facility. They work with the patients, doing physical therapy and having different activities during the week. They care for them there, so they have free meds and 24-hour care. I like the way they try and interact with the patients a lot of times. It's a friendly atmosphere. They can work on some things like some of the dietary needs of the patients, maybe watch their salt intake sometimes and watch stuff that might run their sugar up or blood pressure. Just needs to be better communication between them and whoever is in the dietary section because sometimes they don't take care to serve the healthiest food. The sanitation is pretty good. I've never been there when it wasn't clean. The staff is good, too. Sometimes, maybe just a little short-handed. For the most part, they tend to do a good job.

I am a past client of this provider

My father in-law had a stroke and then they sent him to Creekside which is a Kaiser approved center. I think nurses were caring but they didn't do as much as they could. They would have let him get up and not let him lay on the bed all the time. When we raised this problem to them they would ahead and let him up once in awhile but then if we stop saying it then they would just let him lay down. Also, one major concern was somebody hit him on top of his head and they claimed that he hit himself using his hard fingernails. I think the way that it was hit it was not that and both of his cheeks were sore. I was the one who felt the lump on his head. I looked at it and there was a spot of a lump and that is soft in the middle and a fingernail wouldn't do that. After that incident he was hospitalized and by the time that were in the hospital the lump on his head and the sore on his face seemed ok. He is still in the hospital now due to pneumonia. He was in a semi-private room back in the nursing home and we got a letter from the nursing home's attorney that they are kicking him out of the nursing home because of some Medicare issues. If we hold his room, they will charge us a big amount of money and I see no point in holding his room. If he's not there then he's not there. They could give him another room as they don't have much people occupying there. They really need to improve a lot with their facility and take care of their patients better. One positive thing I can say is that they have a young man there who took care of him wonderfully. He would talk to my father in law and make conversations with him every time he sees him and I really appreciated that but there are more people there who are not doing their job at all
