My relative is in Carlton Senior Living San Jose. They have a high level of caring and desire for the residents to be happy. It's clean, attractive, and easy to get to. It's close to where her family lives. Her room is attractive and clean with adequate space for someone in her circumstances that meets her needs. I would recommend it. I ate a meal there. The activities look great. The price is high, but you get what you pay for.

I went to Carlton Senior Living San Jose. The person who introduced me was very warm, he took me around to places and I liked it. The room is very nice, but unfortunately it's unfurnished. They have a nice dining room, a living room, and a library.

Carlton Senior Living San Jose was clean. The guests looked like they were all decent people and they were all dressed up. The area was nice. The atmosphere and the ambiance were nice. The staff members were knowledgeable of the area, and they were good at giving us the tour, even though we did not have an appointment. They just took us and showed us the place. We just looked at the menu and it looked good because you have two choices. They just let us know the amenities, but we didn't go deeper into that because we were just looking around. They had a courtyard, a salon, and a library. The receiving area was nice. The dining room was nice. It's near some restaurants and the hospital.

Carlton Senior Living was very pleasant. The food was nice, the apartment was nice, but it had two tiny closets. It was the right location, and everything was fine, except the tiny closets. I thought there were probably more people there who were less active and needed more care than I do.

Carlton Senior Living San Jose was adequate, but it's not something that my sister would select. Based on our estimation, they're at the middle of the road and we weren't very impressed with them. Their rooms were mediocre.

I liked Carlton Senior Living San Jose the best of all of them. They were having a tea party when I got there. All of the residents were sitting around drinking tea and eating cookies, and they were all laughing and conversing like they were family. The administrator was absolutely adorable. She answered all my questions and showed me the rooms and everything. It was definitely topnotch. They had cut flowers, and there's the smell of roses when you exit the elevators (instead of urine like at other places). The staff was great. The facility was absolutely beautiful. They have a garden where they have tomatoes and vegetables growing and it's all done by the residents. They had a really nice theater with a big screen and big chairs, and it was very comfortable. It's like going to the best movie theater in town. They had a full kitchen in their activities room and one of the residents was making biscuits. My mom would absolutely adore that because the one thing she doesn't like is any place that doesn't have a kitchen in the room. Their physical therapy program also looked very good.

I was favorably impressed with Carlton Senior Living San Jose. It seemed to be a good facility. I would look into that again. They had a room that you could go to and get food at any time, and that kind of impressed me. The person who assisted me was nice and fine. They were accommodating and answered all our questions. The downside is there's not much outside space, but they are located where there's a huge lot behind them, and that was nice.

Mother is at Carlton Senior Living, and we're actually very happy with it. We liked it, it's a beautiful place, they have lots of activities for the seniors, and the care was really good. She's happy there. They have exercise classes, they bring in music, she had art class, and she liked it a lot. They take them out walking, and there's a trail.

The Carlton was awesome, which was why we ended up putting my mom there. The room was great, and we got her a studio. The people seemed very happy. The food was very good and had a great selection. They had a lot of activities, like arts and crafts, cooking, little trips, and cards. We?ve already paid the deposit, and she is moving in on Thursday. It was really nice.

The rooms at Carlton Plaza of San Jose were roomy and well-maintained. They had a beauty salon there, a theater room, and a crafts room. The dining area was very roomy. We had lunch there, and the food was good. And the people seemed to be happy. The staff people were well-dressed and very helpful. When we passed them they would say “Hello” with a lot of smiles, so it seemed to be a pretty happy place.

Carlton was nice, a little bit dated, and very pricey. They had a lot of people there who were nice, but it seemed very busy, so people may not have time for you.

The Carlton was very nice but more expensive. It’s just too expensive and didn’t have outdoor balconies. So that was another concern we had because my parents like the outdoors.

Carlton Plaza of San Jose is my favorite place among all the facilities I've visited, but they are very pricey, and it has a two-month waiting list. What I like about it is it has less walking and more flexibility for people who have mild dementia. It looks like they have a lot of activities, and I also like the looks of the place. The one thing I don’t like is that the rooms are smaller than the other places.

Carlton Plaza was very nice, but the apartments were small. It’s expensive, and everything you want is an add-on. The staff was very nice and hospitable. It was very clean too.

I really liked the community and loved the activities, but Carlton Plaza doesn’t have balconies. They did have a lot of walking areas, however. I just got a really good feel from that place. Out of the two I have seen so far, I liked this one the best. It’s more amenable to my mother having a dog. My mom needs more care, and they also have a memory care unit, which I really like. The staff was helpful. The director was wonderful. I asked her a lot of tough questions, like, "How do you train your people?" She also told me they’re family-owned.

We did visit Carlton Plaza of San Jose, and it's a beautiful facility. We met one staff there, and she was really great, very friendly, and helpful. The facility was beautiful, gorgeous property. I got to see inside an actual room which I appreciated, and that was good. Our experience is very good.

It was closer to us, and it was pretty good. I was a little more comfortable at the Carlton probably because it was a dead-end street and it just seemed a little bit better. We had a good visit there.

Carlton Plaza is also fairly new, clean and friendly. They had activities like a piano recital going on. The dining area looks really nice, with high ceiling and a buffet meal. The staff was very friendly.

Carlton Plaza is like a resort. I saw their one bedroom and it’s beautiful. The dining room was like a fine restaurant. They do have a memory care section. I had no issue with them as far as cleanliness. The staff was great; they have really nice people that showed me around and gave me information. They were very responsive, but the price was outrageous. It was closer to me though.

We didn't have a tour at Carlton Plaza because we didn't have a comfortable feeling when we walked in. There was so much hustle and bustle right there at the entrance. There was just a lot of business going on right there. When you walked, in there were all these people. When you walk a little farther, the desk was to the right, and the dining area was to the left. The place where they ate looked like a restaurant. We had to wait quite a while to see and talk to somebody. It seemed to fit more to people who were residents and just living there. We were concerned that in that place, my mother might just walk out with a group of people. We were not able to see the unit.

I am contented here in Carlton Plaza. I like the kindliness of the staff and the way they work so efficiently. I like the food very much and for the most part, they offer you an alternative. We have activities like outings and regular trips to San Francisco, Monterey and all over. We have parties and movies regularly. They keep everybody busy. They are very good and I would recommend them to others.

I moved in to Carlton about eight or nine weeks ago. The place is very clean and very pleasant. It was not expensive. It's the nicest place that I looked at. I like their terms and I just don't think I could do any better but to be here. They provide all the food and it's good. They show movies. They have yoga lessons and have church mass.

Carlton Plaza was very nice. My mom, didn't liked the room because it was studio and she wanted a one-bedroom apartment, but everything else was really good. I liked it because they have memory care. The staff was really helpful. They had swimming, the had a lot of stuff on health, they had a diabetes workshop and a whole lot of other workshops. I would recommend it to other.

I visited Carlton Plaza of San Jose. We just met with the director and she was one of the most amazing human beings I ever met. In terms of the way they treat their people, because we saw a lot of interaction, they get the star. It is definitely up there. The apartment that I saw was clean but it was not a right fit for my mom.
