I'm in Atria Willow Glen. This place is beautiful and I'm so lucky to be here. Just even down to the minor things like no airplanes flying overhead, no trucks going by the street. It's very serene. It has a campus-like atmosphere and buildings. The grounds are spectacular with the trees and all the plants are here. It's a terrific place to stay. The staff's work attitude is excellent. You can approach any staff member at any time and ask a question or tell them about your concerns and they pay attention right away and are ready to assist you in whatever way they can. I find the food fine. I can always find something good to eat. There's a variety of food on the menu and there's a side menu also. Maintenance is excellent. If you have a problem, you can put it in a work order and someone pays attention to it very quickly. They address it very quickly to resolve your concerns. Housekeeping is here on a weekly basis and they do a good job cleaning. There are activities for anybody. All day long, they've got something going, either an outing or a game or a lecture. They provide a lot of opportunities. If somebody wants to participate, they're able to do that. I've been here five years, and I can't imagine myself living anywhere else.

My visit to Atria Willow Glen surpassed my expectations. I was surprised by the number and variety of activities offered, the beautiful grounds and welcoming staff. When I’m ready to move this will be the place.

I moved here to make my life simpler and to give me more time for important things like my spouse's health and my own wellness. Atria Willow Glen has met these goals and more. The staff pays attention, knows our names, and comes up with interesting activities. Other residents are friendly and varied. I like our apartment and LOVE the grounds and the pool. We have plenty of choices at the 3 meals a day. I feel safe and at home here.

I toured Atria Willow Glen. It's a dated community, however, I still love what they offer there. The rooms are very nice looking. I picked one of the smaller ones because I don't need much. I had a great interaction with everyone there. Everyone was so very happy to do their jobs, and they were very happy to interact with each other.

The tour I had at Atria Willow Glen was very good. The place was very nice. The gal's name was Felicia and she was very professional, answered all our questions, and had all the information we needed just at hand. So, it was very good. I liked the facility. To me, it was set up almost like an apartment complex, which was fine. It gave you an independent feel. It was a park-like setting and it was very nice. They had pretty much everything. It was independent, so you would do your own laundry. They had access rights to hospitals and medical doctors that were needed, and they would provide all 3 meals.

Atria Willow Glen was very thorough on the pricing, their activities, and everything that they do there. The grounds were beautiful. They have a koi pond and a swimming pool. They have a lot of nice people walking around. The lady introduced me to the staff and she showed me the type of room that I might be interested in (we were interested in a studio) it was very spacious and very neat. Everything was clean and tidy. I'm really pleased about that compared to the other ones that I went to. It had a very nice carpet (no stains) and a little balcony. This particular room was upstairs and it had a vaulted ceiling, which made it very nice and spacious. It's got a kitchenette so there's a medium-sized refrigerator, a microwave, lots of cupboards, and a stovetop. It's got a very big closet and right when you entered the door, they had another two closets on each side. The bathroom was very spacious. It's not wheelchair-accessible into the shower, and it's not flat, but the step was enough that you're not going to trip on it. They were updating all the rooms and that room I saw looked beautiful to me. I think it looked nicer than a hotel. The lady then offered us to have a meal, but we just didn't have the time to stay. So, she gave me a monthly menu of what they eat every day. They also have exercises, all kinds of classes that you can take, a TV area that had a huge 70-inch TV, a dining room, a card room, and a person that comes in that does the hair and nails for a small charge. One thing that stood out so nicely to me, as they give you two sets of sheets and towels and they come in and change them out twice a week. I liked that a lot and the price was reasonable considering all the amenities you get. I highly recommend it. Willow Glen is a nice area, too. So there's a lot of walking that you can do within the complex. There are beautiful trees and bushes. They have transportation for you so I think it's going to be a good fit for my mother.

We went to tour Atria Willow Glen. The place is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are welcoming. There are lots of walking areas. It's seven acres, so they have a wonderful site, they have a pool, and they have a koi pond with lots of mature koi. The dining room was gracious and spacious. The apartments that we saw were nicely appointed and nicely designed. The staff who assisted us was very helpful and appropriate with my friend. My friend was having a hard time hearing, so she took that into advisement and did a very good job communicating with him. We didn't try their food. They gave us a treat when we left, which was unexpected, and it was very tasty macaroons. We didn't see that many activities. We saw several people outside walking. We saw one person being pushed in a wheelchair who said this was the best decision she ever made in her life; she just offered that to us. We did see a group of people just hanging out, sitting around talking. We saw the daily schedule, and we saw the monthly schedule. They have a three-wheel bike, so you can go shopping nearby if you can ride a bike. They have lots of stuff to do. The staff we met was fabulous. The place is incredibly well kept. They're remodeling some apartments now. There was one that was a vacant apartment that she showed us, and that one had just been redone. It was like redoing the kitchen and redoing the bathroom, so new appointments. Some of the apartments as people move out are being redone.

My Mom has been a resident of Atria's memory care unit for several years and has been extremely well cared for. The director is extraordinary. He is communicative, knowledgeable, and courteous. He also leads a wonderful, caring team. My Mom is quite happy and I am immensely grateful for their kindness and care.

My mom moved into Atria Willow Glen a month ago. Everyone was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and took us around on a tour. It went very nicely and smoothly. They have an area where you can make an appointment to get your hair done and your nails done. They have a pool and the main room where they have entertainment and a crafts room. They have a very nice dining room. The food was delicious and so the choices were excellent. My mom loves the food. They have bingo, a book club, movies, and live music. They have Arts and crafts, people playing cards in one of the activity rooms, puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, exercise classes, and they have outings, like field trip type outings. The residents here are very friendly too.

My mother is very well attended. They know their residents, her and follow up on her needs by providing preventative care. They are always aware of her whereabouts and following up. Her room/apt. warm and comfortable and is in a studio. It has a slider and patio area. They have a pool and waterfall fish ponds with sitting areas, beautiful natural landscape, fruit trees, gardening, roses and lawn areas. She enjoys her daily activities and routines. They provide exciting activities for mental and physical exercise, and entertainment. They are very responsive to her family. I know my mother is safe and her needs are being met. For me Willow Glen is home away from home for my mother.

We moved my Dad to Atria Willow Glen and he was initially a reluctant resident. It was a huge change for him...coming from San Diego to the Bay Area, knowing only my family and leaving friends behind. However, from day one the staff and residents really took him in. They reached out to him to include him in activities, invite him to meals and just check in on him. Very soon he was attending several activities a week, raving about the beautiful grounds (he was an avid gardener) and also had a posse of residents that he ate every meal with. We were grateful for the outreach, engagement, and compassionate staff and residents at Atria. I highly recommend this community!

My grandmother has lived at Atria Willow Glen for the past three years. After my grandfather died she moved here from New Jersey to be closer to us. It was a big change for her but she has been very happy living at Atria. She's made some great friends, she enjoys not having to cook and her favorite class is their water exercise class. We are happy to have her near us and we enjoy visiting her and spending time enjoying the gardens and pool.

The people of Atria Willow Glen were nice. They had beautiful outside space and great grounds. It's centrally located and close to my home, but the parking was not very accessible. The room was fine. It had a shower in it, but when I went back with my mom, the room that the residents were in was not very appealing. It was small and crowded.

Finding a perfect home for my grandma was very important to me. When I toured the community, I knew it was the right fit. The studios are clean and are a great size. The staff is professional, kind, and welcoming. Atria offers activities of all kinds, and they have movie nights, which my grandma loves. I absolutely love this community and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for senior living for their loved ones.

I toured Atria Willow Glen. It's beautiful. It looked like it was excellently run and very, very well maintained. If I had mobility issues or a decade older, I would certainly consider it. Of course they're very changed now because of the coronavirus restrictions, but in a good way. They're ideal actually. However, I realized that I don't belong in a place like that yet. The person who showed me around was very nice. I thought how clean and well cared for it was. The sizing and the amenities are exactly right. It's beautifully located and well maintained. They have a lot of activities. Even with the coronavirus separation, it was Veterans Day and they were doing special activities for their veterans. The staff seems to know each other. They have what seems to be very long-term people, so the staff seems to enjoy living there. I was very impressed. I was there maybe an hour and a half, but I looked through their menu, I saw their kitchen, and their public spaces, and I saw a couple of apartments. There were residents out walking and I talked to them. They even have a lovely dog park, so people can have pets. It's a quiet place, but there are other apartments around. They have buses and shuttles and many activities. I was really impressed with it.

Atria Willow Glen was quite good. There were lots of places to walk in the backyard. They had a swimming pool, too. The rooms were clean. The staff was excellent. They were very nice. They answered all our questions and showed us everything around. There were some couples that were living there who were very happy. They really looked nice. Everything was fine. The food was quite good.

Atria Willow Glen was outstanding, and we liked it a lot. The place was absolutely beautiful, and the lunch we had there was excellent. But my sister has mobility problems, and it required a lot of walking, like going outdoors to get to meals or just to get around there. What if it rains and she still has to go outside to get somewhere? What if she slips and falls? That's the only thing we had against this community, but they couldn't have been nicer to us.

Atria Willow Glen was a multi-building property that was really nice and beautiful. It had an outdoor pool which was available all year round. My aunt was not comfortable going even less than a hundred feet from a really lovely ground floor apartment to another building for the dining room because she didn't want to have to go inside and outside. The temperature changes were uncomfortable for her. Those were the only limitations there, and if my aunt would have been more independent and healthier, it would have been an ideal property. The staff was really nice, down to their housekeepers. They also had a limitation on elevator size because they weren't large.

I went to Atria Willow Glen. The tour was terrific. Everybody was very nice. It was very clean, and it just seems like a very nice place. The food looked nice. However, my parents are not interested. They showed us some activities and asked us some questions regarding my parents' interests. They were very thorough and very nice.

I was very impressed with Atria Willow Glen. It is an older property, but it's beautiful with the trees and the woods. My dad likes it. They showed us a 1-bedroom that overlooks a wooded area. They also showed us some of the garden patios; my dad was interested in those. They were older rooms, but they were updating them. It was really nice.

We considered Atria seriously and would have gone there. The facility is old, clean, and pretty well maintained. They had nice grounds, but it’s spread out over a 10-acre parcel, and you have to walk out in the open to get your meals. That was one thing we didn’t like. The apartments were adequate and kind of plain, with no high ceilings, but with balconies which were nice. The people running the place were nice, and we would have been comfortable there for a time. I ate there once, and the food was good.

I visited Atria Willow Glen, but there wasn't any space available. The rooms were small. In the assisted living, it was more of a pod situation. There were three or four rooms around a single bathroom. I don’t think my sister would mind that, but for my mother, who is the one who needs memory care, that would be confusing for her. Atria was excellent. It would have been our choice.

Atria Willow Glen is a wonderful, nice facility. My dad is really happy there, but it is just very costly. The staff were very helpful, very conscientious, and caring. The dining room is excellent. Dad can go in there and order the special of the day or order from the menu. The tables are set, and somebody comes in to wait on you, which is something he is used to at his age. He is in a small studio apartment. They have someone clean the bathroom and take his sheets every week. I asked them to clean the rug, and they did it right away. Whenever I ask for anything, they do it right away. Dad likes the food, and he says there is always plenty. They have a lot of activities. Dad used to play bridge.

My mother-in-law was in Atria Willow Glen. The food was much better there than in other places. It’s more assisted living and a different kind of community, so most of the residents there were more functionally independent. It was a really beautiful place, so I’d give that a good rating. The apartments and everything were very nice. We didn't have any complaints.

We had an appointment at Atria Willow Glen, and when we got there we have to wait a few minutes for someone to assist us. The accommodations were not nearly as nice as it didn’t have open field. We talked to several of the residents, and they were very friendly. We did take the tour, and I thought that the rooms there were very small; not as nicely appointed. My sister had a negative experience with the director there. We talked a lot of the residents, and they talked the director that wasn’t very good. The outside was not as nicely landscaped. Across the street was a big post office, and it was all parking lots. The environment wasn’t nearly as nice, but far more expensive.

The staff at Atria Willow Glen was very nice. They were very informative. However, the buildings were separate, and it was an old facility. They did have activities. To me, it reminded me of a rehab for the memory care side. It reminded me more of a hospital. It was a little too old. They did have all levels of care. In the memory care side, there were some activities.

Atria Willow Glen was beautiful. It is very near my house. It is walking distance, so I would be in my same neighborhood. However, the neighborhood doesn’t have that much to offer. From that perspective, I didn’t care too much for Atria Willow Glen. However, the facility was very beautiful. Of all the ones I looked at it was probably the most attractive physically. It was very wooded, and it had lots of trees around it. It also had a heated swimming pool; which was very nice. I really would have taken Atria as my second choice.

I live in Atria, and my wife used to live here too. It is very good. The facilities are nice, and the service is good. The food is good as well. The staff is good. The rooms are no better than the average. But the landscaping of the grounds is very nice, and the atmosphere is very nice as well. The activities are good, but I just don't participate in a whole lot of them.

Atria Willow Glen was a very nice facility, very nice people there, and it was very clean, very homey. The rooms were very bright, the kitchen and dining area were lovely. Atria Willow Glen has one only one bedroom apartment. All of them were studios, and I didn't think that would be appropriate for my sister. The staff was all very nice. They knew I was coming because I made the appointment. They knew my name. They were ready for me when I came, so that was very nice.

I was very impressed with Atria. Everything was beautiful. I like the location, the settings, and the grounds. The people are very nice. The staff was very polite and very professional. I was very, very impressed with it. There was nothing I could compare that came close to it. The rooms are nice. We looked at apartments for my father. I thought it was more than enough for what was needed. I had a dessert, and the pie they made me was excellent.

My mom moved in Atria Willow Glen last September of 2012. It's very clean. Both residents and staff are nice. She stays in a 1 bedroom 1 bath accommodation with a full kitchen. She brought her own furniture. Food is okay, better than what she would be eating if there's no restaurant there. There are all kinds of activities, exercise, a shuttle that takes them outside, entertainment, choir, games and movies but she doesn't participate in any of that.

I found Atria Willow Glen on the Internet. They gave us a tour and we spent about two hours there, and we liked the facility. I liked the location because it was reasonably close to my house and near other establishments. It was clean and had a great setting. The management was helpful and explained about the pricing. The rooms were more than adequate what a single senior would need. They had enough space for a small living room and bedroom area. It looked nice and all had patios. They gave us handouts about their scheduling, calendar. courses they held and types of services they had. I would definitely recommend this place to other people.

Atria Willow Glen consisted of some converted buildings some years ago. They have made a dementia unit out of that complex. They have a memory ward, which had to be locked up. They also have their duos where they have some people that are couples that could also live there. As a whole, I didn't see any problems in terms of the cleanliness of this facility on the one day that I visited it. They did have a nice open area to the back where they have a pretty nice yard. However, inside it was very cumbersome in servicing dementia people. The problem with this particular place was that they use both their first and second floors for their dementia unit. So people who live upstairs have to go downstairs in order to participate in activities or what-have-you. I thought that was a very cumbersome situation. They have to take them up and downstairs in order for their dementia people to participate in activities and for the staff to be able to look after them. I also didn't think there is good surveillance from one floor to the next. If they could not make the dementia people live upstairs, that would be an improvement.

The Atria was really nice. The girl who took us around was a very great saleswoman and she let us look at our own pace. There was no hurry, no rush. She answered all the questions very well. It was immaculate. In fact, the unit itself was exactly what we were looking for. The neighborhood was really nice.

The Atria Willow Glen was a nice place. They had good care and everything, but after having a brain stroke, my brother needed a little more assistance and he'd get angry. He was too much for them. He is a smoker and he couldn't smoke. They had a patio, but when it rains he couldn't be out there. The staff was very nice to him, but my brother just needed special care and he is better off where he is now. If he didn't have a problem, he would have stayed at the Atria.

Atria Willow Glen was probably a little bit younger and bigger community for my parents. My parents and I had lunch there and I thought lunch was really nice. There were more to choose from their menu. The dining room was packed. Everybody just looked really happy and socializing with each other. They were just pretty friendly. We didn't have much interaction with the other staff though they seemed to be very nice, but their wait staff was great. Accommodations were okay but they were not as nice as the other facility. They are just basic. They took us into a room and they were putting on a gate at the back of it because it has a little enclosure like a patio. The room has a kitchen, very simple, not updated at all. Because they are independent, they have more activities going on. It reminded me more like a senior center. The only downside for us for this facility is it's location. All three of us, their children, are all living in Santa Clara, so this place was just too far from us.

The dining is wide open, well-lit, clean, and easy for the elders to get around with their walkers. Overall, Atria Willow Glen is a very good place.
