Chestnut House

Chestnut House is situated on a quiet street in beautiful San Carlos on the San Francisco peninsula. The city has free Music in the Park and Movies in the Park throughout the summer, and the Edgewood Park and Natural Preserve are well known for its beautiful spring flowers. Located only a block from downtown San Carlos, Chestnut House provides a family-like setting that encourages meaningful relationships between residents. The large house is licensed for up to six assisted living residents and maintains waivers for dementia and hospice care as well. Three full-time staff provide ambulatory and non-ambulatory care.

Chestnut House has a large garden and outdoor area with scenic picnic areas and ramps for accessibility. It's directly across the street from the San Carlos Adult Community Center where free special interest groups, games and fitness classes are available for free or a nominal cost.
