My mother has moved into Ivy Ridge Assisted Living, and it's been really good. It's a smaller board and care home, so they can give more care to their residents. The people that run it are really good. They're really knowledgeable, very helpful and friendly. The staff members are great. It's an all-female staff for the most part, and they're really good. They have aides and they're good and they would answer my phone calls right away. They're very helpful and I like the staff. The private rooms are really small. The shared rooms are bigger. There are rooms that have a patio option, and for the price, it's pretty good. There are a lot of common areas, an outdoor, and TV rooms. The rooms are tiny, but it's good for the price. I had one meal there with my mom, and it was fine. I did not get to see the dining area because of Covid. They have transportation, but they have somebody they use. It's not like they have a bus there all the time, but because it's in downtown, there's a lot right there that you can walk to that's really close. The hospitals and doctors are really close to that facility. There are stores and places to go, but they don't have a designated transportation bus like a lot of the bigger facilities have.

From the street, Ivy Ridge Assisted Living is very attractive. The room that they showed my father, because it was sort of a converted old thing, was rundown and shared a bathroom with somebody else. There didn't seem to be the best feeling about the place. In terms of the staff, they seemed fine.

I loved this facility because it was close to the apartment my family was living in. The staff was excellent and very professional; I found them to be some very trained on taking care of the elderly and helpful in our family's transition to the facility. As we looked for a facility I knew a little bit going into it as I read up on what to look for and ask when I took tours for the different places. The room she received was a private room with a shared bathroom; they provided all the furniture she needed. When the time came for her to need hospice the staff helped us find a good company that would work with us and gave her extra attention throughout the day and night. The meals were very good; they even offered our family free meals when we visited.

I visited the IvyRidge Assisted Living facility in September of 2012. My grandmother's friend recently moved there. I am not close to this woman, but my grandmother needed a ride, so I went with her. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere that IveRidge has. It was a clean place with many friendly faces. The working staff was helpful in showing us around the buildings. It is a particularly small place for this type of facility. Which I think could be a good thing, as the tenants will receive more personal care. My grandmother's friend seemed to be in good spirits about her stay here and said that everything is great there. Also she stated that it is one of the lower priced facilities around, and that that was a very important part about choosing IvyRidge. I would recommend this facility to others looking for one in the surrounding area.

I find this place to be quaint and charming. The furnishings and the decorations really succeed in making it feel more like home as opposed to a "care facility". It's not newer or even remodeled, so it might not be everybody's cup of tea. However, it's vintage style totally suits the area. We have an old family friend (more like an adopted aunt) who is staying at this facility and we make sure to grill her often on how she's being treated (you can never be too careful). She never complains. In our experience the staff is always friendly and usually really attentive (we've even come to look at some of them as part of the family, too). There is plenty to do here to keep the more active seniors busy. The meals are decent (though some better than others). The most convenient thing is how affordable the cost is. With the rate being so great and the level of quality care I would expect this place to have a waiting list.

Our mom is here. I looked at MANY places before deciding on IvyRidge. Staff to resident ratio is great. Mom thinks she is at a resort. Very attentive to her every need. I don't worry about her being there I know she is in good hands. Brian, Jenny and ALL the staff and chefs are wonderful. Thanks for letting us sleep, guilt free!

I really dislike the fact that i can't take care of my grandmother. She was there to raise me at a young age, and i wish i was able to do the same. But that aside, the IvyRidge Assisted Living Facility is one of the best places she could be. The staff are all really nice, and the other older folks there seem to be pretty friendly. She gets to do gardening which she enjoys, and she says the food isn't half bad. I would suggest this facility to others.

I love this facility and staff. My mom has lived here for over two years and it's the absolute best. She's happy and I'm worry free.

I toured this facility recently and found it to be lovely. The residents were active and looked clean. The house, although being historic, was clean and well maintained. It is definitely a place I would move my family into.

This is one of the most dirty facilities, I have visited. The residents are not cared for and the staff don't seem to be present for the residents needs. The sad reality is that the facility is one of the most affordable assisted living facilities in the area, starting at $1,800 a month. Remember you get what you pay for.

The best facility in town, bar none. My mother was so hesitant to move in to a facility and IvyRidge has just become her home. I having nothing but good things to say about the staff and facility. It really is like a bed and breakfast for the elderly!
