I toured Ivy Park at Roseville. I saw two apartments there and both were great, really nice, and would be perfect for my mother. The staff was well-informed, very friendly, and communicated extremely well. For activities, they were making ice cream sundaes or something, and it was a fairly popular thing when I was there. I was like, 'There's a lot of people waiting to get one of these things.'

Ivy Park at Roseville is a wonderful place for a senior that is physically more active. My mom had a lot of activities that she was involved with. She played bridge and she played bingo. They offered different excursions. They had people coming in. They had movies in the great room. They had a wonderful, beautiful apartment. The caregivers there were excellent. Just wonderful, kind, patient, good people. It was a good place, but it wasn't fulfilling the needs that my mother had as she aged this past year. She needed more attention, and Ivy Park isn't as equipped to give that kind of intense attention. The people who worked directly with the residents were excellent. My mother was always very pleased with the food. I really liked the way the apartments were designed. They had a number of different options that were available. There were studio apartments, one-bedroom apartments, and two-bedroom apartments, and we chose a one-bedroom for my mother. I liked it because she wasn't sitting in her bedroom during the day. She had this really nice little living room with a balcony, and she enjoyed that a lot. Plus there was a little kitchenette area that was set off nicely away from the living room area, but there was a little like pony wall between the kitchenette and the living room. It felt more like a real apartment and not like a big hotel room. It was very, very nice. It seemed expensive though.

Ivy Park at Roseville was one of the nicest places as far as brightness, cleanliness, and general appeal. They have one of the best menus, too, and they were very proud of their food (which was an important thing to my dad). The residents all seemed very happy and very healthy, vibrant people. When we asked them how they enjoyed living there, they all had positive things to say. When we asked them what they do for fun, they all had several answers. They have lots of things to do for entertainment and activity. The price was a little on the high side, but not prohibitively. It was still at the same ballpark price as most of the other places in the area and they had the most care and amenities included in the price.

It is a place where you go in as independent living and you don't have to move out of your apartment if you need assisted living. The room has a tea kitchen. It just has a sink and a counter space, a refrigerator, and a microwave. They have washers and dryers and they have cleaning every week. They provide all of your food and they have some programs and movies and happy things to do. They have a gym and a beauty shop. It's very small. There are only 115 or 120 residents. There were studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom and they're small, but that's fine. The staff was wonderful, energetic, and has all the information. She was very good. The food was good.

So far we're really happy with the care that Sierra Pointe is giving to our grandma. The cleaning aspect of the apartment is going well, she said they come in once a week, and that they do a good job. Her room looks clean, so that's fine. They have the usual variety of activities that you would expect. There are church staff, card games, bingo, movies, and stuff like that. The staff members really like the old people. The food is very good, she's really happy with it, and I've also eaten there several times. She moved into their independent living, but it's the kind of place where you don't have to move rooms if you go into assisted living. So that's kinda nice.

It was very nice and good. The rooms were good-sized. They had an activity room and they explained that they had lots of activities going on during the day. The dining area was very nice. The staff was very pleasant and nice. They had an exercise room, beauty shop and a library.

We liked here the best. We liked the people, and it's a pretty good place. It's close to where we live, so it was the best place to put my mother-in-law in. The atmosphere was good. Everybody was very friendly. The people and the facility were nice.

It was very nice, clean, and nicely kept. The person who toured us was very informative, helpful, and did a good job. She was top notch. They have a library and an exercise room. The place was easy to get around in.

It was a very big community, but it was more for the active than the assisted. The staff was very nice and accommodating, and they followed up with me and answered all my questions. They made sure I didn't have anything else. It was very clean. The dining room was very clean as well.

I thought it was very nice. It’s a much older place. It’s also assisted living which is very tempting. The rooms were nice. They were smaller than the apartment that I will have now. They had good activities, and the upper echelon of the staff was wonderful. There are many happy people there. I would recommend them.

I visited and it was near my home. It was also near stores and things. The place was nice, clean, and it smelled good. They had a nurse on staff, and the staff was nice. However, there was only one special area for WiFi.
