It's always a difficult time when trying to find the best and safest place for a family member having a change in their life. The Staff at Brookdale Roseville have been so wonderful to my dad. He has adjusted well and now feels like it is home. There are plenty of activities that he participates in. Where he was before he seldom participated and was becoming less involved. Now he is back to enjoying himself. I can't say enough about how wonderful the people taking care of him have been. They have sent pictures and called with updates. Every time I am there they are very warm and always keep me updated on how he is doing.

We toured Brookdale Roseville. We were super sad when we left there. I think it's a good match for somebody who has more advanced dementia because everyone there was kind of just sitting there and not engaging in anything. They have value. I just don't think that they were a good match for us. It's okay for advanced dementia locations whereas levels one and two, I think would decline rapidly there. The lady who gave us a tour was super nice. She was wearing pajamas when we were there, she was wearing Crocs. It's not that they were having a jammy day or something because she left there and went to lunch as soon as we were done. No one talked to us except for the lady giving us the tour. They were licensed for 40 but they had 14 of 40. To improve, I think the staff, especially if they see a tour, should engage or offer up some of their favorite things about working there, some good things for families or some noteworthy things. They didn't even make eye contact with us.

I toured Brookdale Roseville. It was clean. It was tidy. The people were very nice. I think the rooms were okay, but I did like the people that worked there. I thought they were very knowledgeable, very helpful, very kind, and very willing to work with me. They have a courtyard.

We looked at Brookdale Roseville. The rooms were shared. They weren't private, but semi-private. When I got there, I had to wait about 30 minutes before the person that I had an appointment with even showed up. When I got there, they wanted me to stay for another. I only had 10 minutes left. In the 20 minutes I was there, I couldn't find another person that I could ask a question. I actually wandered around the apartments and around the place for a good 10 minutes without seeing a single staff member. The place was clean from what I saw. The residents that I saw were all sitting in the movie in the room watching the movie.

My mom has moved into Brookdale Roseville. I'm pretty impressed with it. She was bedbound at home, and she didn't even want to get into a wheelchair, but they got her in a wheelchair. They do visits. It is outside because she has a roommate. They like to go either outside or to a special room to visit. The place is very clean. It's hard to go there, and my mom wasn't eating at first, but she is eating now, so things are OK. For activities, they hit the balloon and watch TV, and they do other activities. They have a separate dining room, a big living room with a TV where they have other activities, and separate rooms to visit.

I visited Brookdale Roseville. I'd been in the rooms and enjoyed it. The staff members were wonderful people. The apartment was absolutely top of the line, it had everything we need, it was immaculate, and spacious. The window in the room where my sister's bed is going to be has a panoramic view of shortcut-maintained lawns, different types of trees, lots of greenery, lots of blue skies, no buildings, and absolutely just nature. They have hummingbird feeders outside of the window so that the person that is staying there is able to sit in bed, or whatever they're doing, look out the window, and see hummingbirds coming up. It's just a beautiful room, it's 14 feet wide, and very spacious. The bathroom was immaculate and has a sit-down shower. It's everything we could possibly need. We couldn't ask for more. It's perfect. Probably, the number one reason why we chose them is because they don't do anything else besides memory care, so the entire staff is dedicated to that. They're honest too. I did my checking on them because this is going to be for my sister, and it's going to be long-term care. I was looking for dirt, I was looking for anything negative, because that's how I keep score. I was able to talk to other people that live there. They're wide open, they encourage you to talk to everybody, so I did, and you can tell that everybody had smiles on their faces and they were engaged. The women were making bracelets, necklaces, knitting, and staying busy. They were hiking, walking, and getting sunshine. There was an attendant with each person that was outside, and so they were well-staffed and well-maintained. The staff was obviously happy to work where they were at. You can tell when someone's happy, and when they're frustrated, or less than happy with the whole situation, and theirs was fairly happy. From the very beginning they were honest. If they didn't have something, they said it. If that was in the planning they said it as well. I made a point that if anything didn't come out perfectly as far as I was concerned, and my notes were concerned, I made a point to ask another employee and I'd get the same answer.

We had a physical tour of Brookdale Roseville. It was not fancy, but I like it. I was very impressed with the director. The private rooms were large. I like the outdoor area; it's a central courtyard so it's visible all the way around. Windows all the way around, and there are a lot of shades. We only met with the director, and I like her very much. She asked a lot of questions about my mom to determine how they could meet her needs.

My mom is a resident of Brookdale Roseville. We can't visit her because of the lockdown, but when we go and visit her, they open up the window so that we can talk to her from outside. Of course, she likes it there. There is no problem. The people are really nice. They have lots of activities. They do bingo nights, and they do all kinds of arts and crafts. They keep them busy. We only met a couple of the people on their staff, but the people there are very nice and very friendly. They promised they would take care of my mom. I would give their facilities the top rating. We had one minor problem with them, but that was a miscommunication problem, and that was it.

My mother was at Brookdale Roseville a month and a half ago. Her experience was pretty good, but we did have a few issues. She had some soreness, but they didn't tell us about it. When she got sick, they didn't really notice. Somebody else who was coming in to evaluate her did and had to call an ambulance have her taken out of Brookdale to a hospital. She was diagnosed with pneumonia and other complications. The facility was nice, clean, and the people were relatively nice. It's just they tend to do a lot more memory care games and stuff. They don't watch the residents for symptoms of things. My mom had a urinary tract infection from the diapers being on for too long. The food was balanced nutritionally, but it was always cold and very bland. The facility was well kept up and they offer a lot of activities.

We moved grandma at Brookdale Roseville. I like their personal care. I feels like I know the staff there, and they know me by my name. They worked with us in her caregiving, financially, and with every facet of the process of her going to this thing. For their activities, that is probably the least amount for me. They just had a group room where they can fit and watch TV. They play games and they sing, but other than that I wish there can be more. Sometimes the staff ratio is not as well what I would like to be. Sometimes there are 40 residents and there are only 3 or 4 staff members. Other than that, they are awesome.

Brookdale Roseville is a very nice place. Everything was well setup and it has a cheerful environment, but it was too expensive. As you walk around, you see things on the walls that they have done and things they have done as a group in there. It is not a depressing place and I like it. I would recommend this place if you have the money to spend there.

Brookdale Roseville is a small community. They seemed efficient; however, I wasn't thrilled with the room when I saw it. It seemed dark to me. The staff was fine, but I didn't choose this facility for my husband, because I think they're short-handed. People that are working there are doing two or three jobs for the residents. The person I spoke with was very knowledgeable. He was nice, but as people rang their doorbells, he had to leave working with me to answer the door and let people out and various other things. They need to increase their staff.

My father was Emeritus Roseville (Brookdale Roseville). I thought it was nice. They took care of him, but he was only there for a couple of weeks. I would recommend them because they were attentive. The place was clean, and it seemed like they had a good program going on.

I'm sorry I didn't do this sooner, but it probably is more powerful now that before. My husband has been at this dementia care facility for 9 months, it is the second such faclity he has been in. My family all believe this is a wonderful community. Since this is our 2nd place, it makes us better educated to say that Emeritus is just excellent. The residents are kept clean, as are the rooms and the building, the caregivers are professional and caring, and a real effort is made by the staff to keep the residents engaged. The prior unit he was in woudn't get even 2 stars by me now that I have seen the way care should be given. A professional executive director at Emeritus runs a tight ship and you always feel she is listening to find ways to make the facility even better. Good in every way!
