My father-in-law is currently at Marquis Shasta Post Acute Rehab. He's doing fine, and he's getting the treatment he needs. The staff members are very helpful and very thorough. There's a gym room there, but the people I've seen don't look very active. He is being wheelchaired-in for all three meals, and he says the food's fine. He's currently covered under Medicare.

Our son, who has special needs, fell just before Christmas and broke his hip. It was a devastating injury for him. When he arrived at Marquis Care Shasta, someone from each department, housekeeping, food services, nursing, physical therapy, individually spoke to us to see how they could best meet our son's needs. In the two months our son has been in their care, we have grown to love so many of the staff. My husband and I can leave at night, confident that the staff cares for our son like he is their family.

My Mother-in-law spent her last 9 months in the memory care section of Marquis at Shasta. She loved the food! The staff was compassionate and responsive, the experience turned a stressful time of life into a positive experience. I would definitely recommend this facility, it's all about the people, very nice group!

I was there for a week recovering from a Knee Replacement. I was very worried, not knowing anything about this facility. I was in room 103. The morning staff was always so very kind and help answer many questions The night staff was kind and compassionate. So very helpful with my medical needs.Always having fresh ice water was just wonderful. Started Physical Therapy the next day. The compassion I got from Michelle, Carla, and the rest of the team was incredible. ..I could just feel how my Spirits lifted just being around the Whole Team. The ice bags in the room were so convenient.. I have recovered so much better with all their help. Thank You and your Staff for being such a Great Team, I would recommend this Facility to everyone.

My mother is in this facility, although not perfect, my experience has been a positive one. My mothers care has been above average, the staff are very caring, loving, and kind to my mother. At times there have been issues that have come up that were not to my satisfaction, when I have expressed my desires and preferences for and about my mother care , preferences , and things I want to be added to her care plan the response has been quick and complete. The staff and management have done anything they can to make my mother and my family comfortable with our decision to place mom in there care, they do there best to go up and beyond to accommodate us, they have been a huge support to my mom and our family. I am excited about the updating that is in progress of the building. I highly recommend Marquis .

The staff was great at Marquis. My mom didn’t think they had good food, but she is a pretty-nice sized woman, and she is also a diabetic. They feed her 5 to 6 meals a day, but there’s three main meals and snacks in between. I think they do a really good job. They have a physical therapist, they have birthday parties, and they have crafts. In the memory center, they have medical, and there is like the memory care. It’s in the same building, but they have different rooms. They play cards, and they stuck blocks and TVs in their room. They have a small activity room, and they usually take the food into the room.

My mother-in-law has been to Marquis for rehab. It wasn't great, but it was OK. It's down a few blocks to a few restaurants and a gas station. They were nice-sized rooms, and the windows had pretty things to look at out of the windows. It seems like the food was OK, so I would say average. I know they had bingo. My mother-in-law enjoyed it there because she met people. I would not recommend it, simply because some of the staff were really good, but they did have some staff who were not good.

My mother in law is actually okay there. It's a clean, decent facility. The staff are friendly but not that knowledgeable and I think that's probably the way it is everywhere here. Everybody's hiring low level skilled people. I think that's all you get and I think that's probably the way it is everywhere. I've been to a lot of awful places and this is actually a good facility. Not the best, but it's good. The people there do their job. The residents there are well taken care of, but I would never want to be in that position. It's devastating. I go there at least once a week and I get depressed every time I go. It's just devastating to see these residents who once were active and cogent. Now, they're just drooling on a chair.
