My mom will be moving into Lassen House Senior Living. I liked that everybody was happy and smiling. They had daily activities. They also had a nice courtyard. The room that my mom was going into had a nice view into the courtyard with all the flowers and a nice lawn. Everybody was friendly and helpful. They had a nice menu. I had rosemary chicken and rice, and I enjoyed it. They have a beauty salon, bingo every day, chair yoga, people coming in and singing, and other activities throughout the week. They also have a doctor that comes in. Everything was painted nicely. They had chairs down the hall, so people could sit down if they got tired. It smelled like Lysol, but it was clean.

Lassen House Senior Living was a very nice and attractive facility. It was light, bright, and cheerful. The people in the assisted living were busy doing things and looked very comfortable and happy. The section where the memory care was seemed OK. They were doing some kind of activitiy. We walked by one lady who said she had to go to the bathroom, but nobody was called and it could have just been a slip. The individual rooms were a little bit smaller and you would have had to share a room, which could be a little bit difficult for mom. Other than that, it was still a very positive experience. The people I met were very pleasant and the place was very clean.

Lassen House Senior Living was a nice home. It's very beautiful, but it's big -- there are a lot of people there, and we just wanted more of a homely one. They have memory care there, so they do Alzheimer's, but it's basically the same services: toileting, helping him bathe, housekeeping, and food prep. The rooms were very nice. The staff was nice, very pleasant, and seemed to be friendly to the clients. It was very clean. It's on a busy street, so I didn't like that because my dad has dementia, but other than that, it was nice and right across from Walmart.

It was beautiful. They took me through the whole facility. They had a dining room, area for community functions, pool table, seating areas, and manicured grounds. It's in a really nice, clean setting. Everything was very upgraded. The residents I talked with raved about the food. I went and ordered a new bed for my dad before he moves in, and the guy who's delivering the furniture told me I should eat there with my dad because their food is excellent, and I thought that was pretty impressive, and he's not even associated with the facility. My dad will be getting a 325-square-foot studio with a microwave, refrigerator, beautiful tiles in the bathroom, and granite countertop in the little kitchen area. It's spotless and really nice.
