Mom already moved to PLC 7125 Main. She is in the memory care. It's small, kind of like a house, and there are only three other residents there. It's not like a big corporation that owns it. It's a couple and the husband's sister. So, they're more flexible and more personable. They get three meals a day and since my mom is extra hungry, she gets snacks. I have tried the meals and it was excellent. It is all home cooked. Some of it is frozen, but that's just kind of like how you would have it at your home (the things that you purchase that are frozen). They are not like a big corporation where they have a giant kitchen staff and they're ordering from kitchen supply places and the food is frozen and bad, they cook everything from scratch. They are more personal. They have a back deck that they go out on sometimes to have popsicles or to watch the ducks. They said they have a trail that goes back to the property and there's a vineyard and stuff, but they haven't been able to do anything like that since it's been so hot.

I'm gonna be moving my mom into PLC 7125 Main. It was bright and airy, and it just had a good vibe. The person that was working there was nice and knowledgeable and took us on a little tour. The room that my mother is going to be moving into has lots of natural light and a big window. She can look out the window and see the trees and stuff like that. It just seemed like a home, the kitchen was right there, and the dining room was right there. I'm sure my mother's gonna love it. When we walked into the place, both of us had good vibes from it. A lot of the other places where we place other family members, there's always that little thing in the back of your mind, and there hasn't been any of that with this. My mom is on hospice and I just want her to be comfortable in a very caring environment and I think this was gonna be it. The general manager was super nice, too. Everybody that I've talked to has been very knowledgeable, nice, and caring. I think they were putting tile in the kitchen and the kitchen was huge. It looked like they were always upgrading. There was a large TV, and everybody was in the TV room watching a golf game. There's a lady sitting at the table in the dining area and she looked super happy. Everybody looked clean and happy. It was all good. I am happy.
