My father moved into Oakmont of Orange. When I first went for my appointment, they had a wonderful sign welcoming me for the tour. I met with the marketing director who sat with me and answered all my questions and introduced me to the wellness director and the executive director. They spent some time with me understanding my father's condition and situation and what we were looking for. They went through their programs and how they would address his needs. They were willing to go visit him initially to get a better idea of what the costs would be, on top of just the monthly rate, that would address his needs in terms of additional care. They showed me the available apartment that they had thought would be best for him, given what I had requested for him, which was being close to the restaurant and the social activities. So, that was all nice because it seemed very personalized and thoughtful. The property itself is not large, but it's also not small. The apartment my dad has is in a great location and overlooked the courtyard. Although the kitchen is small, there's not a whole lot of need for a full kitchen. I appreciated that the living area of the apartment is much larger than the kitchen area. The quality of the facility is top-notch. And everybody that I met on the tour, which included the activities director, the chauffeur, and the maintenance crew, were all very nice and the residents seemed happy. It was very calm and quiet, and yet, everybody was very interactive when I was there. The restaurant is very fancy, and the food reviews of the chef there were always five stars reviews for the quality of the food, and that turned out to be true after having eaten there with my father. Everything has worked out well. They were very accommodating with my move-in requests and getting the room set up. In terms of how it was after, I had decided that my dad would be a good fit there. They were very amenable to the process of moving him in. I honestly couldn't be happier. Part of that is also that my father is happy there and he feels very much at home, comfortable, and welcome, and he feels like it is a very, very top-notch place. My dad is going to the workout classes, he's playing games. I know that he's actively engaging in the activities. The wellness team is very responsive. I've asked them to take into consideration different courses of care for him. Based on my father's communication about what's happening, this has been handled and managed. I was told that when he transitioned over that they would make sure that through his Medicare, he would be able to get more physical therapy regularly and for a longer period of time than what he was discharged with from skilled nursing. And so, that's happened. They also coordinated an appointment with the concierge doctor that comes to the facility. There was another company they work with that helps with hearing tests that he's now going to be assessed in. It seems like things are happening to his benefit and being given the necessary attention to the kind of keep him cared for. Also, the initial assessment of additional assisted living that was done in the beginning wasn't necessary, so they made an adjustment to the care they provided versus the care they had assigned because it wasn't needed.

Oakmont of Orange was a very, very nice community. It's just a much larger deposit and a higher price for the studio apartment than others, but it's a fantastic facility. It's beautiful. They have both assisted living and memory care, but we were primarily there to talk about memory care support. The shared rooms were a little smaller, but they were still very nice. The studio was very large and very, very nice. I got a tour from the representative and I kind of met some of the staff. The staff seemed very nice. They seemed very well-managed and very organized.

My husband's uncle moved to Oakmont of Orange. The number one consideration was that they had motion sensors in the room, so that would detect motion if the residents were to get up in the middle of the night, and none of the other communities that we visited had that ability. He's in the memory care center. He has dementia, but he is doing well. They have activities. I haven't been there during all of them, but they have a lot of games and memory things on the TV. They take them for excursions like taking them away from the facility. My uncle's room is lovely. It's spacious enough for him. It has a very large bathroom with a walk-in shower and it's very well-kept. They have cleaning and laundry weekly, and everything seems to be doing well. We had several meals with him, and it was good. It is one of the most expensive ones that we looked at, but my uncle was coming from 24-hour in-home care and that was costing him double what he is paying now, so it is worth the value.

Oakmont of Orange was absolutely beautiful but was a little too expensive for what I'm looking for. It had so many amenities, but a 95-year-old lady doesn't need a place with a putting green and all the other fancy things. It's very beautiful but it's not one of my considerations. When into the entryway, they have a table with a little sign that welcomes me with my name. Then when I left, they had this individual freshly baked apple pie to take home. They do go above and beyond, it was very high-end. They had a grand piano, they have music, entertainment, arts and crafts, physical activities, and exercises. The staff members were all very, very friendly. The people there greeted me when I walked in and everyone was very, very nice.

Considering we are still battling Covid and have to deal with inconveniences, Oakmont has done a pretty good job of keeping residents safe and family members connected. The food is prepared fresh daily and the Chef is willing to accommodate special requests. Bus rides are given weekly, there's a Company driver who will drive you in the Oakmont Cadillac to your local doctor or appointment you need to attend. The facilities are beautiful and spotless. The activities are becoming more numerous as we navigate safely through Covid. Covid really put a damper on a lot of business practices. So Oakmont has done a pretty good job considering.

If you're looking for a professional , clean, beautiful facility with staff that treats you like family , you've found Oakmont . My Mother has been at Oakmont Of Orange Memory Care since July 2020 . They made the transition for her into a new unfamiliar place easier than any other facility would have without a doubt . They have catered to every need my mother needed or I needed . Chuck will personally take care of any concern you have. Being the Executive Director doesn't mean he's disconnected from the residents or staff . He's often seen saying hello and getting to know the residents personally . Rocio is the best care Director I've ever seen and takes a personal interest in every Memory resident . In other words , your loved ones needs are met ! The rooms are beautiful , the facility is designed like a hotel . The food has improved greatly since we arrived and Chef Fernando will customize a dish to suit your LO's needs. My mom is a picky eater but she's been able to get what she wants . From the caregivers to the nursing staff , to housekeeping and maintenance, the staff is superior . Everyone is polite , caring and responsive. When I come into the facility , all Covid protocols are followed and I'm greeted personally like I'm family . You aren't a stranger at Oakmont and everyone is a VIP . I couldn't have been luckier to chose a facility that provides everything my mother deserves as she progresses with her dementia disease. The nurses acted quickly when Mom needed an ambulance and I was notified right away . I was there in 5 min as the ambulance arrived . The hospital is 4 min away . She's now on Hospice through the company Oakmont has in there daily and that care is also very good . She's doing better and I truly sleep better knowing so many have my mother's care as their priority . I love Oakmont and everyone employed there .

A first class operation. We searched all over So Cal for a Memory Care that didn't feel institutional and we found it. Had his own apartment, fine dining in a beautiful setting and cared for at the highest level. But all of this was secondary to the care we got when we had to move him to Hospice. During Covid it has been a rough go of it, but we were still able to have access to him once he reached Hospice of course with the necessary precautions. My Dad was able to pass in his home/apt with visits from everyone who wanted to say good bye. Priceless. Thank you Oakmont. Ken T.

My mother is at Oakmont of Orange. We love it. It's new and luxurious. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, trained, and responsive. They're caring for each specific resident. They take pride in their chef and the food that they provide to the residents. They have a lot of activities, and it's very close to my home. There has been a turnaround in the upper management, but they've handled it well.

My father moved into assisted living about two years ago. He was transferred into memory care about six months ago. Oakmont of Orange is well designed to transition residents as their care needs increase over time, all within the same facility. The food is excellent, and the rooms are comfortable and well designed. The atmosphere is superb. Activities are engaging and geared towards the abilities and cognitive levels of residents. The staff is caring in their approach to the residents and guests. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Oakmont of Orange has done an excellent job of keeping the residents safe and healthy. There have been restrictions on non essential visitors, but it has paid off to limit exposure to the residents. I would highly recommend Oakmont of Orange.

My parents moved in about 6 weeks ago, in the midst of the pandemic, and so far, it has been a very pleasant experience for them. The atmosphere at Oakmont has been kept as normal as possible despite all of the Covid restrictions. The staff is incredible and attentive to their needs. The food is very good. Families are updated weekly by the director via email which is greatly appreciated. The facility is beautiful inside and out and incredibly clean. I highly recommend Oakmont to anyone in need of a little more assistance with everyday life.

My 95 year old father has been a resident for only a month. During this period the staff has been very welcoming and supportive. The community is only two years old and clean. My father says the food options in the dining room have been very good...and he's a picky eater. I appreciate the option to take him him out to lunch or dinner during this pandemic. Most assisted living facilities in the area do not allow you to do this.

This is definitely the place to be for mom and dad. We had looked at soo many places but this one had the best staff ratio, food and so clean! They provide so much care, comfort, trust, & my parents rave about the food, activities and love the staff! They have been exceptional and every time we go there, they’re always raving about the place. Oakmont Of Orange is the best! Chuck, Christina, Cora and Justin are the best ever!
