I like Cedars Assisted Living enough to place my brother there. I like the fact that it is a complex. I like the location. The amenities that they have for their clientele I think is better than the previous place he is at. I like the staff. I like the staff of the rooms. I like the personal attention.

My tour at Cedars was very nice. The people were very accommodating. They gave me a tour of the whole community and explained everything to me regarding all the different areas. It was almost the same as the other place I went to in terms of layout. The staff is very nice, and the place is laid out very well. It looked like an older building, but some parts of it looked newer.

Cedars Assisted Living was nice, and the medication management nurse was very helpful. They had activities such as outings, TV days, and craft days. The director was very slow in responding and seemed a little apathetic. I had to leave three messages before she finally called me back, but the rest of the staff was OK. They had a barbecue area and social areas, and they served three meals a day. The place was definitely comfortable.

Cedars looked like a motel complex that was renovated into a senior assisted care. It looked old and dreary. We saw the rooms; they were fine, but nothing impressive. The staff were just doing their jobs and didn't seem overly friendly. The whole feeling was kind of drab. The residents didn't seem engaged.

I like Cedars, and it’s very nice. It seems like it’s being remodeled, and they are still adding more rooms to it. I like the cleanliness of the place, and I like the cafeteria. It didn’t smell, and it seemed like a very nice place. They do arts and crafts, outdoor activities, they had a nice backyard, and they do trips, reading, and exercise.

I had a tour of this facility a few days ago and was impressed how helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable the director of marketing was. Her name is Stephanie. The facility is big, has a nice outdoor area with grass and outdoor furniture where families an come and picnic with the residents. The dining area is big and nice looking. The menu is pretty nice. There's 3-4 options to choose from for each meal and the menu changes every week. They have a locked area for Alzheimer/dementia patients, with their own dining area which is fairly small and lots of daily activities. They only have studios in the locked area and they're about 200-300 sqft. We are considering this facility for my father.

Cedars Assisted living was a very nice and clean place.. i stopped by the other day to have a tour and i was very impressed with the facility and the staff. they were all very sweet and very caring with the residents. unfortunately my mother is not ready to move but i recommend anyone looking for a place for their loved ones to live, this would be a good fit. there lots of activities and plenty of freedom to roam in and out of the building as pleased which i liked.

Cedars Assisted Living was an outstanding facility. My brother used to reside there. He was free to go in and out whenever he wanted. Everything was basically new. They even had a dining room with tablecloths. They had lots of amenities. There was a place where you can get your hair cut and to the right of the building, they did have a beautiful mini park with grass. They were all in this big complex. They also had a section for Alzheimer's that was a locked area. It also had a little court area. If my brother were to advance, that section would be the place that he would go, which was what my plan was, but then he needed a pacemaker and had to go to the hospital.

dont take your love ones to this place they don't have enough care givers , they don't have servers at any time (breakfast ,lunch, dinner ) the care givers should no handle food when they change the diaper --I told this to Candice ( the director cedars ) she said to me that she can't do anything - come on spend some money we pay in employes

Cedars was very busy. Even though we had an appointment, the person we were meeting with was tied up with someone else for a while. He did take us around a little bit to one or two rooms. I remember that the rooms were smaller for semi-private. We weren't that impressed with the rooms but we liked the dining area. Both places were nice and clean. The facility was older so you'd expect that there was some wear and tear. It was not as big and open but it was well-kept.

We still got my Mom at home. She's not quite ready to go but I already found a place for her when she is ready in time. I took a look at Cedars Assisted Living in Northridge. It's probably one of the best places around. The place is very nice and clean. The people there are very nice. My problem is that no matter how you shine it up, it still looks, I mean there's still that sheen of a commercial facility. It's not built out as a residence. The place looks like they have lots of activities. They have a really nice dining room. They even have a hair salon there. I was able to see one of the rooms. It was not one where somebody is living in so it was not personalized. You just bring out the blanket that you want, your television and anything that you want to bring to personalized the room. I was not able to ask about the food though but my Mother would basically eat anything that is edible. Overall It's a very nice place!
