My dad is on the assisted living side of Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita. It is very welcoming. The people there are very friendly and warm. It is clean. They started to modernize the rooms, so we were able to get him into a studio that was updated. We were able to see a room that wasn't updated, and the difference is amazing. They did a really nice job. It is a smaller place, but we felt that was better. The staff that we interacted with so far is just very friendly and available. If you have a question, it is not a problem for them. If they can't answer it, they find someone who can answer it. We spoke to a few of the residents as we moved my dad in, and they were all just very happy there. In terms of activities, I saw a flyer for movie night. They have a happy hour, and they have someone that comes in and plays the piano. The dining area is nice. They have a set menu that is posted every day. They have an updated menu. They have breakfast, lunch5, and dinner hours. If you don't care for what they are serving, they have an alternate menu. You can order a sandwich, and they make it like you want. There are a certain amount of items that you can get off that menu, if you're not happy with the ones they are serving that day.

We toured Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita. It was very clean. It seemed nice. The dining room where they ate was very nice. The food options were good. We only met with two people, like the person at the front and then the person we were meeting with, they were both very good.

My mother-in-law was a resident of Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita. The first couple of years were fantastic. It's what we needed and wanted. They took care of her and they were very friendly. They had a lot of activities, but then they changed management and the service went down. It just wasn't the same, that's why we decided to get her out of there. It was a bachelor's type apartment. It's just one big room with a bathroom, a little kitchenette, and a little patio. All her meals were provided, but she had to go down to the dining area. If she wanted meals in her room, we'd have to pay extra. In the beginning it was really good. I ate there quite a few times with her. I had lunch. It was very good, but towards the end it was bad. They have an activity director named Marilyn. She was fantastic in the beginning. She did a lot with seniors. After she left, they had a hard time finding a good one, and never did. The facility was good and it was clean.

We toured Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita. You feel safe in there. Everybody was really nice, and they greeted everybody. It felt like home. We saw the model room and it was pretty nice. It was small, but it was nice. There are bigger rooms in there, of course, but you have to go through what you could afford to pay. The staff member who assisted us were nice and helpful. The dining area was really big and really nice. All the workers were on top of everything in there. They have activities, but we didn't get to see many activities because the time we went in was lunchtime. They just took us into the place where they do activities. They have a library. They have like a planner there of what each day they go and do. They do nails, so that's a good thing. It's a variety of stuff. It's a nice place. The staff members were really helpful.

Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita is very clean. The rooms are updated and of good size. The staff is great, very nice, and professional. The activities were great. They don't have a swimming pool, but they have a library, a theater, and a spa. They're very organized. They have bingo nights.

The tour at Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita was good. The lady who showed me around was very helpful, and knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. You would have to bring your own appliances. The only thing they offer is a small refrigerator. They provide three meals a day. You can go outside for a courtyard. All the rooms were upstairs, and that's the only thing I didn't like. The dining room was downstairs.

What stood out to me about my visit to Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita was the amount of enthusiasm by the people that are there. I like the caring facility, and the security of the building, those were the things that I considered positive. Plus the apartment we were going to choose had a beautiful view out the window of the rest of the valley here in Santa Clarity. It was the right size, being an efficiency suite or junior suite, and was the perfect setup. I met the person in charge of residency, and the people at the front desk, and I saw the other staff in the facility and nursing station. I looked at their menu but I didn't taste any of their food.

The Community Relations Director at Pacifica Senior Living answered all of my questions about memory care and gave me a FaceTime tour of the facility, advocated for all medical documentation to be completed on time and found a mobile chest x-ray service that could provide TB test results on the same day. A Nurse went to my parents' house to assess Mom's care needs and was very kind to my parents. Within three weeks, the Community Relations Director had made it possible for Mom to move into memory care, but on the day of the move, Mom refused to get in the car! The Community Relations Director saved the day and connected me with a transport service that would help us transport Mom. The wonderful people in memory care have been helping mom get acclimated with her new living arrangements. We are very grateful for the kindness that Pacifica Senior Living has shown our family through this very challenging and stressful time.

Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita was very nice. The rooms were nice; they were fine. The staff were nice. There's a very nice wall for the veterans. My father-in-law is a veteran, and for that, it was pleasing to me to see that they recognize our veterans, so that was nice. They have a whole wall there. If they're a veteran, their pictures are on the veteran wall, so that was a nice little touch. We saw the assisted living, but they have memory care on that property, too. We want to find a place for my father-in-law where memory care is available should he transition and need more care. They gave us some cookies while we were waiting for the person that was going to meet with us, and those cookies were cooked there by their chef on their property, and they were delicious. A blueberry cookie that was good. They seem very accommodating to make a menu that would be pleasing to my father-in-law. If he likes a certain thing, they'll know that, and they said they'll recommend that to him. My father-in-law always says he's not hungry, but once they get to know what he likes, then that's what they'll offer him, so that was very nice. They seemed like they were willing to accommodate whatever his needs were going to be with food. We liked Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita. It was nice. We only toured it for a brief time, but it was great. However, the patio wasn't as nice as other patios that we saw. We only met one lady staff, we didn't meet too many other staff, but she was great. The building itself was nice. They had a beauty salon and they had minor pedicures and manicures. When my husband mentioned that his father just had a hard time shaving these days, the person that met with us was kind enough to say, 'You know, there's a barber across the street, maybe we can have them come over once a week to give your dad a good shave,' which I thought was nice. They're willing to find solutions to some of the things that are going to come up.

My mother is in Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita for respite. She's getting occupational therapy and physical therapy four times a week. The staff are very friendly. My mom didn't like it at first because she's ninety-six years old, so she's been on her own since about three months ago. But it's got great service, and it's got a great social life there. The people do a lot of activities. They have weekly things. It's a nice place. It's a very good place. I would highly recommend it. The biggest problem is, it's not cheap. I liked it for their respite because you can leave somebody there. They have a little beauty shop there for anybody who wants to get their hair done. They have an activity room and every week performers come in every Thursday night. The nice thing there is you can visit you can go at any time of the day, their open hours are until 5:30. And then after hours you just call the phone and somebody on staff will come to answer, you go and visit your relative, or your friend, or whatever. It's a very open place. You have to wear a mask still and everything. The food area is great. For my mom, it's like going to a restaurant every meal. They have a menu, they have everything. Their staff and their cooks, all seem to be very passionate about what they do. In respite care, you can bring whatever you want in. They supply the refrigerator and all that.

My mother has been a resident of Pacifica Senior Living, memory care for about 8 months. The administrative and care staff are both very professional. The common areas are well maintained as are the residents rooms. The biggest thing for me is when I drop my Mom off from visits, she is very happy to see her caretakers and greets them with a big smile. For me, that speaks volumes for the quality of care she receives.

Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita was nice. They were under construction, and the feel was a little different. They had nice activities and the same type of things as other places. They're renovating some of the rooms. They were saying what the price of the room was, and what the price would be if we were getting a renovated room. There was nothing I didn't like. The lady who gave us the tour was good, but the lady at the other place was just more on top of things. They didn't go the extra mile when talking to us. It's a little tight when you first walk in, and it's directly off the street. They keep it clean, and the lady couldn't really say how often they clean the floors, although they have maintenance. They were trying to keep it clean while doing construction. They were painting their bistro area.

My mother has been at Pacifica, Newhall going on 2 years. This facility is "the best" for keeping the residents free from the COVID virus. Pacifica adheres to the mandated protocols with the virus and it has surely paid off. I can relax knowing she is well taken care of and has caring caregivers. She enjoys the exercise activities the most, and is also very happy they go to meals in the dining room( social distanced) now, and looks forward to family weekly 20 minute visits outside that were implemented a few months ago. I would never have my mother live in a place I would not live at myself.

My siblings and I are extremely satisfied and happy with the way Pacifica Santa Clarita responded to the Covid virus. Our mother and the other residents are all negative seven months after the quarantine began. In addition, mid-way thru, it was our mother's 99th birthday and the staff helped us celebrate in a safe manner (she inside, we outside), while still sharing cake and cards with her. Now they have a formal protocol in place that allows us to have safe in person visits, as well as scheduled Zoom visits. Since the most restrictive days are currently over, staff has resumed more regularly scheduled activities like bingo and exercise class, our mother's favorites. The aides are always helpful and my mom has several favorites. Whenever we have a question, concern or issue, admin staff investigates and takes corrective action. These are strange times, and we rest better knowing our mother is safe and cared for on a daily basis.

My dad has been in this facility for almost a year now and I knew I made the right decision in choosing Pacifica Santa Clarita especially when the covid pandemic hit when the families were briefed of their covid preventive measures. The management was very efficient and hands on in ensuring the safety of my dad. I was regularly updated about my dad's situation. I know he was comfortable and well taken care of like he is around family. It is a comforting feeling to know that my dad is not just sitting al day waiting for bedtime to come. They have engaging activities all day like bingo and simple exercises and it keeps him active and happy. Pacifica is like a family.

Making the decision to place a loved one in an AL or MC community can be very stressful. It seemed to be overwhelming; and with COVID-19 very challenging. We are happy with our decision to secure an apartment in Pacifica. Working with their entire staff, from admin, medical, concierge and maintenance, we never felt stressed or overwhelmed. The transition went smoothly, very professional and very quickly. The staff was excellent with communication and compassion. Thank you so much Pacifica.

My mom is 86 and she’s been at Pacifica Senior Living for the past 8 months. I have to say that I’ve been extremely satisfied with the level of comfort and care mom has received while at Pacifica. Pacifica provides the kind of environment that allows my mom to maintain her independence while ensuring she gets the right level of assistance she needs when she needs it. Pacifica’s caregivers are very kind and check on mom frequently; encouraging her to participate in activities that promote socialization and engagement. Fortunately, I live and work within 1 mile of Pacifica and visit frequently (outside of the recent quarantine). This allows me to have a good collaborative relationship with Pacifica’s staff - we keep each other informed as needed to ensure Mom’s health and happiness.

Dear Melanie, Thanks for your frequent updates, and most especially for you and the “crew” for taking such good care of everyone at Pacifica. I am not a computer/internet person, so won’t be clicking any links or doing Facebook, but I did want you to know how much your efforts have been appreciated. You have put together a great group of people and our family is so grateful. Best to you and your team,

The Staff at Pacifica has been amazing! Our mom has been in isolation due to Covid for 2 months and they have arranged video zoom calls, asked us to make video calls to show her and have updated us every step of the way with what is happening. Best news is that our facility is covid free. Thank you to all who work there who have stepped up during these unprecedented times.

This review comes early in our experience with Pacifica Senior Living. Since we are able to compare Pacifica with a longer-term residence at Pacifica's nearby neighbor up the street, here's a tip: If you are looking at both, CHOOSE PACIFICA. Unlike management at the nearby neighbor, Pacifica's director and her team demonstrate honesty, integrity, and follow-through on their promises. The team at Pacifica offered prompt, compassionate, and creative solutions to an urgent situation where a family member needed relocation to a "memory care" residential facility. Pacifica's cordial staff member, Angelica, responded to our short-notice request for a tour. Immediately afterwards, she put wheels in motion to quickly accommodate our needs, and with the help of Silvy, Mildren, Melanie, and other cheerful and understanding members of the Pacifica team, had our family member out of a regreThistful prior placement and comfortably situated in her new home at Pacifica's Legacies section. While we are still in a period of adjustment and acclimation, I am confident that the communication, care, and attention given to me and my family member by staff at every level are contributing to, and will continue to enhance, her well-being.

The person who gave me the tour at Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita, Cristina Castro, was wonderful. She's no longer there, which was unfortunate because she was a part of why my dad was moving there. The food was delicious and the place was clean. We saw one activity and my dad enjoyed watching that very much. The rooms we saw were definitely something that he could move into and the price range was in his price range.

We saw Pacifica, and it was nice and orderly. We saw a couple of rooms; the smallest one was like a studio without a kitchen, but adequate for 1 person. We saw a larger one which could be for a couple or shared room, and it was really nice. They have a multi-purpose room for games, entertainment, and it has a piano. They had a different room for TV, computer, and they had a library. They had a lot of common rooms. The dining room was spacious, the tables and chairs were very nice, and didn't look like a drab cafeteria.

My parents have lived at Pacifica for almost 7 years. My Dad passed away 4 years ago but my mom is still there. In that time I have had the pleasure of dealing with professional care givers who really care about their residents. I looked at several Assisted Living Facilities before deciding on Pacifica and I'm glad I picked them. The social director keeps the residents active with shopping trips, bus rides to shopping centers and local restaurants, exercise classes, daily Bingo, activity/craft classes, nightly movies with popcorn/desert and even wine & cheese tasting! There is plenty for my mom to do on a daily basis. The social director decorates the place for every Holiday and even special days like Valentine's Day. It always looks neat, clean and welcoming. They just had a Cinco De Mayo Party there serving delicious Mexican food which was a big hit with everyone! They even had Margaritas and Coronas! There is laundry service and room maintenance that is part of the package. They even have a hairdresser there almost every day! On the rare occasion when I've had an issue with my mom and her room/care, I was able to speak directly to the Director to resolve any issue to my satisfaction. The staff is the best part of Pacifica. They make sure that the residents are happy and well cared for. I would highly recommend Pacifica for your loved ones. You won't be sorry you did!

Mom is doing great at Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita. The staff is excellent, and I have no problems with any of them. Mom's room is small, but it is a good size with a balcony. Pacifica Senior Living was an assisted living facility with very limited parking underneath the building. The rooms were very small, but the facilities were pretty nice. The people seemed to be nice. However, it was expensive for my sister's budget. The dining hall seemed to be nice. They had scheduled activities. The age population seemed to be older than my sister. The facilities were clean.

We weren't thrilled about Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita. It just didn't feel right and was not very warm. We made an appointment with a lady, she made us wait for her for probably 30 minutes past our time, and I felt the tour was not very good. She took us to a room in the middle of getting its carpet done and had glue on the floor, and we were stepping on it. The elevator smelled like urine. I wasn't happy about it at all. It just seemed dirty, and it just wasn't clean and not a place I would put my dad.

We liked Pacifica, except for the rooms. We wanted a one-bedroom, and they didn’t have the room size we needed. They only had 4 available, and they were on the corners and didn’t have balconies. They were on a busy street. The staff person was very nice and friendly, and she knew all the guests, which was good.

My experience with Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita was very good. They had a carport, which I was impressed with. Inside, it was really nice, well kept up, and clean. I'm impressed. It was very good. They could probably expand the rooms a little bit. The gym was fine. They had a beauty salon. The staff was very nice. The location was very good on a very quiet street, not near the freeway at all.

Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita was an older place. The people were fantastic, but I did not particularly care for the layout of the studio. It was carpeted, which means my mom’s wheelchair would get stuck a lot, and the room was sort of small for her. I like that they had a memory care center and keep the residents active with a lot of activities. You name it, they have it.

Pacifica is a bit older and didn’t have skilled nursing care, so it wasn’t what we were looking for. The elevators seemed scary, but the residents seemed really happy. The people that I encountered were all smiling and friendly, and the staff was very friendly, too. It was kind of small and wasn’t as luxurious, but the accommodations were OK. They had bingo, games every night, and a library. They had restaurant-style dining. If you don’t need nursing care, it would be OK.

My mom ist at Pacifica and their rooms are really nice. They have a movie theater room, a card game area where people can play. Everybody is very friendly and helpful. There prices are reasonable than most of the other places. Their value is good compared to other places.

I was very impressed with Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita. It had a nice, large entrance, and it was very beautiful. Their dining area was really beautiful. We didn't look around too much because we didn't have much time, but I did see enough that I was so impressed with. The room was nice and big, the staff was very nice, and I was satisfied with the convenient location.

Everything at Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita seemed very nice. We only talked to one person. She was pleasant, and helpful. It's just the place was pricy. We didn't see any activities, but there was a calendar that was given out for the activities that were going to be happening, i.e., hot topics in the news, pet therapy, a walking club, etc. The room that we were in was like a sitting-area, and it had a table; but I didn't see anybody in there eating.

The staff members at Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita are great. There is Bingo, a walking club, and once a week they take us to a restaurant. They provide transportation to local medical centers. They don't take us on distant trips, but once a week they do a scenic drive. I have a large private studio and it is good. They changed the carpet and painted it before I moved in. There is a microwave and a refrigerator. I like it. The dining room is nice and spacious, I have good tablemates, and most of the food is good and sufficient. I would recommend it.

I like Pacifica Senior Living a lot. I like the lady who I spoke with. She was very knowledgeable. She knew what questions we had. She knew a lot about the area and what people here want. She took us on a short tour. The facility was clean and there was no odd smell. Things were really put together. They have a print monthly calendar. Some activities were on a regular schedule, like bingo and different exercise classes. Then they have individual activities made up for the people to come to if they want to come. I could see my mom going to some of these things.

I chose Pacifica Senior Living Santa Clarita for my mom because of the price and the smallness of the facility for memory care. She just got there Saturday, and so far, so good. I have not noticed any problems at this time. Her room is fine; I don't have a problem with it. It is carpeted, and it has a kitchen as well.

The staff at Pacifica Senior Living was friendly. The rooms were fine, but the rooms in the other facility that we visited were finer. The dining room was adequate and fine as well. The patients looked fine and happy. Pacifica had some musicians, and they were enjoying a show when I was there. In the memory care portion, they were playing some games. There were stuff going on, and they looked very engaged.

We had mom-in-law at Pacifica Senior Living. So far the facility is great and she actually loves it. She met lots of new friends and she loves it. The place is absolutely clean. The room that she's in is about 400 sq. ft.

Pacifica Senior Living was very nice. It was very clean and our visit was very nice. But it was an old folks home and was not appropriate for my mom. Even the lady coordinator knew that it was not appropriate for my mom because there was not one person there under 90. I liked it that they were extremely helpful in referring me to other places and for being very honest in not trying to sell me on their facility.

My mother-in-law is going to be moved to Pacifica Nursing Home in Newhall, CA. We visited and interviewed with them. It was a nice, clean facility and the people who worked with us were really professional. It just looked like a good place for us to be and the price was right.

The rooms were average --- they were nice and clean. My mom brought her own furniture with her, like the TV, and some other stuff that she needed. The facility and the staff are capable of taking care of people with dementia, and they were actually very welcoming when we first went there. I can't say much about them as I haven't been there for quite a while. I wasn't able to taste their food, but according to my mom, she says it's good. There are a few improvements that this facility can make such as lowering the cost and make the facility affordable. Many people don't make that kind of money they're asking for.
