My mom. Was not getting the care she supposed to got. She passed away when I was there. They put her in the chair. Her head was all the way to her knees for 7 hours. Probably more then they rest her. Choose to Modesto hospital. They only had her on morphine. And then she died.I do not like the vintage fair. They were rude to my mom.Something happened and I'm getting to the bottom of this.I'm going to investigate

Please use caution when choosing this facility. Audrey, in admissions, was very sweet and helped make my dad's transition from the hospital to their facility as smooth as possible. Upon my dad being admitted, his wife (my mother) passed away. Audrey and Nurse Christina were extremely compassionate and supportive when my brother and I had to come give him the bad news. Audrey helped with ensuring that my dad was able to be transported to my mom's funeral services, and I'm grateful for that. The one and only nurse that I can give kudos to is Christina who was actually concerned with my dad's health. She is very knowledgeable and seemed to be the only person in this facility that was worried about my dad being over medicated with insulin for his diabetes. On several occasions she forewent giving my dad his insulin dosages because his blood sugars were not high enough. She directly woudl tell me this, as I was at the facility daily, checking on my dad. Thankfully she used common sense and her expertise to make those decisions. Unfortunately, on November 23rd my dad was administered too much insulin by another nurse at this facility and he became hypoglycemic, causing him to fall out of bed at 1:00 a.m. My father's roommate who heard my dad fall, went and alerted the night time nurse. My dad was not coherent, the nurse checked his blood sugars and they had dropped dangerously low. (33) Then paramedics were called. Despite my dad having minor complaints about the lack of care in this facility, our experience really took a turn for the worst....NO ONE at the facility called me to inform me of this incident. I received a call from Doctor's Hospital at around 7:15 a.m. and was informed that my dad had been admitted to the hospital. I immediately called the facility and was informed that my dad had indeed fallen and had a laceration on his head. The nurse apologized for the fact that the night shift nurse had not reached out to me. Once I got to the hospital, they were treating my dad for hypothermia and hypoglycemia. In addition, his right arm was broken which required surgery. After absorbing all of the information that I was given from the hospital, I had my brother reach out to speak to the Director of Nurses (Michael) on Friday November 24th. He was not available, so he spoke to the supervisor, Nicole. She covered for the nurses and said it was nothing they did wrong and that they didn't notify us about my dad falling because he is his own responsible party. I'm not sure how they can make that claim considering my dad was hauled off by paramedics after his blood sugar dropped to 33 and having a broken arm??? A message was left for Michael to call us back, but it wasn't until several days later that he actually returned the call. His concern was that this was the first time anything like this had happened under his watch and then confirmed that he had been at the facility for 2 months. I am extremely disappointed with how he has handled this situation. Instead of acknowledging the incident and addressing our concerns he kept on trying to validate his credentials, and make excuses for himself and his staff, ZERO lack of accountability. Prior to having this conversation with Michael, my brother and I were considering having my dad return to the facility because he'll be needing rehabilitation again. However, after this conversation with Michael and the fact that the secretary called me the day after my dad was taken to the hospital to inform me that they bagged up all of his belongings (in garbage bags) since they needed the bed/room for a new patient, it's a BIG FAT NO!! I am appalled by how this facility handles business, it's' clearly only about the money and not the patients!

The communication in this facility is terrible. If you need to speak with a certain person you will be put on hold for half an hour. It takes forever after you push the call button to get anybody’s attention to get to the bathroom. You go in for rehab and you get the Corona virus. The sanitation is very bad .

I wouldn't go to Vintage Faire Residential. I was there for rehab and it was very bad. I was there for 3 weeks and didn't hardly get any rehab at all. If I needed help, I got some, and that's about it. I thought I was there, and they would help me get rehab, but that wasn't true. I suggest that they have adequate staffing, and when you're there for rehab you should get rehab.

Vintage Faire seemed to work out pretty well for her before she passed away. My cousin told me that my aunt was happy, and they seemed to give very good care. The dining room was nice and roomy. The place seemed very clean and well-kept, and the staff was very nice.

The only plus I saw at this hospital was how clean it was. RN's, CNA's or whoever else they said should resond to patient call buttons would not respond right away. Went in several times when call button was dangling from wall instead of being clipped to my dad or bed. Dad ended up having a heart attack in this hospital and call button was not attached to him. If it wasn't for the patient also in this room, my dad might not be here. There was another time when I needed to get my dad back in bed because of the several stomach pains he was going through. It took them 45 minutes to help me and I still had to go look for someone after requesting this 3 times. Several other things happened there too, but the good one. Dad was experiencing stomach pains for almost two weeks. Finally had a doctor look at him and gave orders to have him looked at by GI Doctor. After almost a week of asking everyday, when this would be done, I finally asked for the facility they were sending him to. I called that facility and no orders were ever sent in for my dad to be seen. Called the hospital back and dad was seen the next dad at another medical group. I was told I had to understand there might be other patients in more pain than my dad.
