I went to Dale Commons. The community was pleasant. It was clean and kind of elegant looking when you walked through the door. It was like a hotel or a fancy restaurant. The rooms were nice and spacious. The staff who gave the tour was so much fun. She was really into your personal needs. She's very personable, and I like that. Overall, it was like walking through somebody's house. I didn't see a lot of activities. But some people were outside, and some were sitting inside having coffee and talking.

Dale Commons was nice. It's just a little bit more expensive. The one-bedroom was beautiful. They had a nice outdoor garden area and really beautiful indoor facilities with sitting areas. They also had a library, activities rooms, and a nice dining area. One of the nice features they had was if you don't want to dine at the normal hours, you can order food from their little cafe any time of the day.

Dale Commons is a very nice place. The living atmosphere was good; it was nice. When you walk in, the dining room is to your left and it's a beautiful, nice dining room. Everybody was very nice, and everybody was helpful. I felt as if the staff were genuinely there for the people living there. They have numerous activities like games, movies, birthday celebrations, and trips outside of the community. We didn't try their food, although their cookies were very good. They gave us information on their menu. Some of the apartments were spacious enough for furniture and stuff, so I felt like they were nice.

We loved everything about Dale Commons. We liked the room, amenities, cleanliness of the place, and appearance. We were in the process of securing a room for my father there until he decided to rather move with us. The layout was beautiful. They had a garden, common areas that were extremely well-manicured, and walkways. We did not eat there, but they gave us good cookies.

My dad hasn't moved in yet, but we are about to send the paperwork for Dale Commons. We visited Dale Commons. Actually, we went back and talked to the manager there. Dale Commons is a nice facility. The people that handle the place seem very nice. The overall experience was nice. I saw their independent living, but my dad might need some assistance. He does most of the stuff himself, but he may need assistance down the road. They don't have sections. They'll assign you a room, and if you need care there at the room, they will give you more care if you need it. From what we've seen and on the phone, the staff seemed very nice and thorough. It seemed like a well-run business. The facility is very nice. It looks modern and newer. The upkeep seems relatively good; it's clean. They have a laundromat, they have a physical therapist on staff, and they have a hair salon. It's really nice. They have a lot of everything there. They have a game room and a theater room, too. About my dad's room, it's a nice room and really roomy. It's close to a 600-square-foot room. It has a kitchen with a refrigerator and a microwave. It has a shower and a bathroom. It's like a walk-in shower. It's really nice.

Don't let looks be deceiving. This facility looks nice but it is ran horribly and the staff wears one face for visitors and another for the residents. My grandmother lived there for 3 years. They claimed that they were giving her the medicine she was prescribed. They told me that my grandmother was old and had a bad memory. When I asked to see the ledger for pill delivery they kindly showed it to me. They had forgotten that they had signed off that they had give her her medicine already for that evening (it was 2pm) and the following morning. I asked to have the pills counted and there was too many. She wasn't receiving her medicine. Because I complained they didn't call me after she fell one night and bumped her head. My grandmother was taken to the hospital. My grandmother laid in the hospital conscious for 10 hours by herself. She was 95 and probably extremely scared. She then had a heart attack and died by herself. I live 30 minutes away and one of my family was at Dale Commons every day. We would have been at the hospital. It breaks my heart that she died alone because she didn't have to. When I talked to the manager and asked why I wasn't called he stated that I was just grief stricken and it wasn't his problem. My grandmother deserved better and so does your loved one.

I liked Dale Commons. The staff was nice. They had an exercise area and an activity area where they do activities like bingo. They had a nice courtyard where you could sit outside. The rooms were nice. The studio I saw was spacious and clean. The whole place was very nice including the layout and the dining area. My mother just needs to have more care than what they can provide.

Dale Commons was very good in all aspects, but I couldn't afford it. It's the Cadillac of places. It has everything. I saw people getting on a bus to the movie theater. When they told me the price, I left because it was way too much for me. I only went to the main lobby and to the dining room, which was very good and more like a formal, elegant dining room. The residences were very good and very clean. To me, it was extremely expensive for the amount of space you got. They showed me the cheapest one they had and it was only a 300-square-foot studio. Nevertheless, the place was very elegant.

Dale Commons had a lot of facilities, so we wouldn't have to leave. It had a beauty shop, a barber shop, library, and yoga lessons. It's like a fine hotel with a concierge that takes care of things. They had a mailroom and a room where they keep the medications for you and make sure you take them correctly. It's a really pretty facility. They let you cook a little bit. They had things set out like fruits and ice water with fruit in it. They play games, have a big exercise room with different equipment in it, and have a theater that shows movies every night. There were walking paths that are lighted and all concrete. The staff was really nice and seemed to get along and organized games. It's run really well and quiet and orderly.

We viewed Dale Commons and it's very nice, but expensive. They offer activities and meals. It's very clean and the dining room is grand. The residents seemed sad though and no one smiled.

Dale Commons was very nice, clean, and had been remodeled. It had a beautiful exterior for people to walk on the outside. The people were very professional and accommodating. I would recommend it somebody who could afford it as it’s a bit pricey.

We went to Dale Commons. I was a very accommodating experience. They worked with me fairly well on my specific needs. I liked the apartments and everything looked good. They had nice showers. I happened to meet a resident outside before I walked in. I had a quick chat with her, and she had been in there for 12 years. She had a very good opinion of the place, and she enjoyed it very much.

my dad spent 8 moths there and because his health has declined (and he's a fall risk) his doctor suggested we move him to a facility where he can get more direct care. several time he mentioned he didnt get showers or if he did they didn't help with them. he had fallen several time and twice I never got a call from them and didn't know he was in the hospital until I was notified by the discharge nurse that he was ready to go home. prior to him moving into DC he was courted for weeks by the staff (who I'm sure are commissioned for new intakes) last fall prior to him moving to a different facility he spent 30 days in a rehabilitation hospital and not one time did they call to check on him. of course its a nice facility and the meals are cooked by a chief but at almost 3,800 a month I wouldn't expect it to be a dump. not to mention the 1k "community fee" that apparently is "non refundable no matter what". the relationship is great as long as the $$$ keeps coming.

Dale Commons was very nice, and I looked at 1-bedrooms and 2-bedrooms. I think I looked at studios as well. I had lunch there, the food was good, the staff was nice, and they've phoned me back a few times and kept inviting me to other functions.

My mother-in-law is in Dale Commons. It’s really nice, really good, and much more expensive, but she’s very happy there. The staff is great. They’re very helpful, very attentive, very nice, and very patient. The people who live nearby and visit are very impressed. She has a small apartment that she really likes. I would recommend it who those who could afford it. They have a beauty shop, lots of different rooms, a snack bar, and a nice dining room. They have a bus that takes people to places, which is really nice, but the bottom line is how the staff treats the residents. Dale Commons might be a little newer and had a very high ceiling in the dining area, so it had lots of light and was very open.

My mom has just left Dale Commons after living there for three years. It was bad because she wasn’t getting care. She would ring her button, and people wouldn’t come to her room. They would leave her there and let her get wet in her diaper. She got sores on her bottom from sitting on her wet urine. The apartment was nice, but the people who cleaned it did a terrible job. I took pictures of how bad a job they did and brought it to the attention of the manager. It was dirty, smelled like urine, and way overpriced, too.

Dale Commons was beautiful. It reminded me of a cruise ship. It was clean. Everybody was just really responsive. They were able to accommodate every need and did everything I asked. They worked beautifully with hospice. They really worked well as a team. They were upfront about everything, i.e., the cost. It was quite expensive, but the ease of transitioning to this care was really good. The thing about assisted living that caught me by surprise is you have to provide furnishings for the room. As far as how flexible they were to meet the end-of-life care, I was pretty amazed by it. They did a very fine job.

Dale Commons is a stone’s throw from the Kaiser Hospital so it is convenient. The facility is very nice outside, clean and the people were very nice. The residents had very nice things to say about the place.
