The rooms are fairly large and adequate. The food: my wife had special food needs and alergies which were promptly handled by the staff. She needed her food pureed due to stomach issues and the staff complied. Wonderful experience overall and a special shout out to the Physical Therapists who did a bang up job! Also, Almond Vista went beyondexpectations in transitioning from there back to home. Our experience was of an excellant professional operation and I cannot say enough goodthings about Almond Vista! Also, after leaving for home, their follow-up procedure was welcome - they wanted to see how wife was doing - much appreciated.

This place is horrible!Home Medication left in the room for over a week. Patient not getting their pain Medication. No weight for over a month when the Patient has obviously lost weight.Bedsores without treatment. Cold food and no assistance with food or encourage the patient to eat. Frequent falls and nothing to prevent falls. Not answering the phone or contacting the patient family member with medical decisions. Not giving immunizations even after several calls asking about the immunizations. Not sending the patient to the hospital for a fall and altered mental status that was knew.My father called this place hell.

This facility is horrible. They lack attiquit staff. The residents are left in their soiled briefs for long periods of time. I've seen several residents will severe rashes. The food is nasty. The same breakfast every morning. Wrong medication is give or not given residents are left alone or ignored even if they are yelling for help. Showers are often not given. This place does not care about the people they have. Its all about the money. Advanced health care directive is ignored and family members are not called with updates to there loved ones medical changes at all.
