STATE OF CALIFORNIA NEEDS TO SHUT DOWN THIS PLACE ASAP!!!!!!!! STAFF TREAT PATIENTS, ESPECIALLY DYING PATIENTS & FAMILIES HORRIBLY!!!! This place deserves ZEROS!!!’ AT 4pm EVERYDAY - UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF YELL AT GUESTS VIA INTERCOM WITH SIRENS ON TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY WITH SECURITY RUSHING EACH ROOM!!!!! NO ONE SHOULD BE TREATED THIS WAY ESPECIALLY ON THEIR DEATH BED!!! EVERYONE witnesses the fear and sadness in patients eyes when they change the guards at 4pm but staff don’t care!!!! They run this place like it’s Alcatraz instead of a hospital!!! I spoke to other families that they agreed that since they recently implemented changing of the guards at 4pm — their atrocious staff behavior has caused anxiety, panic attacks and quicker deterioration of their patients!!!!! Patients are ignored!!! Staff say this new rule is implemented because of corona virus but they don’t screen anybody coming in at any hour nor do they screen staff so this rule is a complete joke!!! They have pathetic door greeters sitting on their lazy ass telling visitors to sign in yet they don’t sanitize the area during their shift! I would be more worried of their lazy staff spreading MRSA and Staph infections since they don’t sanitize nor clean this place properly!

One of my clients had to have surgery, and went to Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. I was very impressed at the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. My client was in and out of surgery within just a few hours, and was doing well on his return to the regular patient room. A nurse paid constant attention to him, although I was there to keep him company as a caregiver. She kept a close watch on him after surgery - even though it was just a minor operation; and also asked me if I needed anything every time that she walked by. I was highly impressed with the staff and with the facility itself - and I would definitely recommend it over any other hospital in LA.
