There are flies hovering in the air. There is no place for the family to visit. We had a terrible experience with Beverly Hills Senior Care. My mother who has dementia was not cared for, although the staff indicated they had experience with dementia patients. For four days she was not bathed and was not approached to engage in any activities. There is nothing to do. Staff was not kind, compassionate or understanding. They had signed my mom up for hospice without informing us! Once we told them we did not want hospice they wanted mom out. I took mom home that day.

My girlfriend was there for a few months and was miserable there. She has moved and is much happier. When I visited her I thought it looked better than what I envisioned based on her comments and she did like the staff. However, the food was TERRIBLE and there were several times she talked about flying bugs hovering over her food, They put her on Hospice and she didn't know they did. She got it removed. Then they were pushing for her to sign some papers and they were Hospice papers AGAIN!!! She is no more ready to throw in the towel and does not have any life threatening health issue. Would not recommend this place other than for having employees with heart.

My husband is a well known baseball player, when he got older, he became very upset with every one, and He would even hit me or his son when we try to help him. It was impossible to take care of him at home. When we took him to Wilshire Vista Manor Michael and her Husband took him inn right a way. They introduced him to all the nice residence and made him feel welcome. They started him to do something new that we could not do at home. They have activities all the times. There is a class to sharpen his memory and there is a yoga class, dancing is four times a week, and they take him to museums and parks. There is live music and dancing. They have comedians performing and making him laugh. He gets his medication on time, and when doesn't want to eat someone stays with him and feeds him. He is been happy again. We love the owners and care takers at Wilshire Vista Manor.
