I visited Heritage Home Care in La Verne. The person who gave us the tour, her name's Michelle, and I think it might have been her husband. They were very informative and answered any questions we had. They also went and met my mother-in-law. The room that she would have had was nice. It must be their biggest room. It had some nice double doors to go outside. It had a beautiful bathroom with a roll-in shower. There was no lip. They said they had a chair, that they could take you in there and wash your hair, the whole bit. That was beautiful. We saw another room that was a shared room in the bathroom. Everything looked brand new. It was all nicely done and clean. They had a dining room table, and then we saw the kitchen and a big living room. They all had individual recliners and they took the covers off and washed them all the time. Everybody had their own one that they sat at. They have another seperate dining room, and another front room where they had two couches, and at that time, a Christmas tree up. They did talk to us about the meals and how they could make the people what they want. The front of the house is nice. They also had a table outside a covered patio that you could go there. It was nice, clean, and well-manicured.

I visited this facility during their open house. I was impressed by the cleanliness and beautiful place. I recommend this to seniors who want a home that feels like their own. The owners were very polite and energetic which I think is good for the residents.
