Loud and noisy even at night. Caregivers were indifferent to the patient's needs. urinine on bathroom floor left uncleaned all day they said it was not their job and would be dealt with by cleaning crew next morning. I am 4'7" and they gave me xtra lg, night gowns and pull up undergarments.. said they were out of stock of smaller sizes. When it came to shower time I was dried with a bed sheet cause there were no towels back from laundry. the list goes on and on. Terrible place!!!
Sebastian bye bye then

The staff seems to be the biggest problem there. Not only do they have a poor communication system about locating and and helping patients but when you get someone on the phone they are very condescending and and smart ass. My mother has only been there a short time and has been moved over and over and left to stew in her own soiled diaper for hours and hours. When I asked to speak with social services, administrators or admissions the phone operator says he’s the guy for all ,Sebastian which I doubt very much because he can’t even connect a phone call to a specific patient on the first few attempts. I will be following up with more action obviously.

This facility places high hurdles on visits. They have such restrictive visit schedules, that you can only get an appoint about one week out from your request. I called this morning (Friday), and was told the soonest appoint is next Thursday! I advised that I'm driving from a distance, and can only visit on Wednesday, still 5 days away; the scheduler couldn't have cared less. I said this resident gets few visits, couldn't he allow me to visit on Wednesday? He responded that she gets lot of visitors (she does not). I asked for the manager, and was told he won't be in until 11 am. I called at 11:20 am, and was told he was in a meeting, I left a message for him to call me back. After no call back, I called at 2:50 pm, and was told the manager "is not in today." I said I was told earlier he was in, and was in a meeting. They then said he left for the day! (11 am to sometime before 2:50pm?) They said he won't be back till Monday. I've never experienced such restrictive visit schedules in any other care facility. How sad that this staff doesn't make it easier for visitors to visit residents, no doubt some are very lonely, starved for attention, conversation, visits. I would recommend extreme caution before placing a loved one here.

This place is a MADHOUSE! My mother is currently there and we are trying to get her transferred out of there ASAP! She has been there for 2 weeks, she has not seen a doctor in that entire time. She was transferred there from the City of Hope after having surgery. She is a type 2 diabetic and has raised concern about the diet they are feeding her and they keep insisting the are feeding her correctly but her sugar levels have been high since she got there. She is not eating all of her food because of this so it now looks like she is not eating properly. The facility flooded the other night and the staff was using blankets to sop up the water. There are patients wandering around and entering her room at all hours of the night and she is supposedly in quarantine for 14 days to check for COVID. Her care team was supposed to call to discuss her care I spoke with the case worker but the physical therapist was supposed to contact me and NEVER did. My Mom is there to get better but it is not a very conductive place for healing. Definitely read the reviews before you trust your family members care to this place, I sincerely wish I had!

My mother in law was just in this place & I’m beyond upset about the lack of care or concern. She was suppose to have physical therapy everyday but they never got her out of bed! She called complaining saying she felt dehydrated & very weak again and was having a hard time swallowing (she had a stent put in her throat) We voiced our concerns but the Dr & nurses claimed she was progressing, eating almost all her food everyday and that her labs were good. When she called us telling us she had thrown up on herself but nobody had cleaned her up, we told them to send her to the ER. While there, they told us she was severely dehydrated, had a UTI & that her stent was blocked, so she was basically starving to death! Don’t EVER send your loved ones here!!!!!!

I had visited a friend at the facility and the there was such a lack of care, it was extremely sad. Please do not leave your loved ones here. There was immobile patients yelling, trying to get the attention of staff, I went to the nurses station to notify them and they seemed unfazed. Really sad.

Covid 19 patient was released home before the test results were back in, testing positive and now can infect anyone else at home because Arbor Glen did not inform anyone. The public needs to be aware! May 11th.

My mom stayed at Arbor Glen Care Center for rehab, but there were also other people there for long-term care. They were really helpful, the food was good, and the staff was also good. They were well-staffed, and the look of the place was good. The only thing was that at the time they were doing street work outside, accidents were happening, and people were pulling out. The community is right on the highway, although it's not their fault that the government is working on the street. The place itself is nice and the location is good, they also transport people a lot there. They have a lot of activities for the residents because it's a long-term community.

My mother stayed at the Arbor Glen Care Center for five months; it was clean. They had three people per room, and it was a good-sized room. There was enough space for visitors to come, and they had plenty of closet space. They had two TVs for the three-people room, and they were given their meals on time. They were continuously checked up on, and the office was not too far from her, so it was a good experience. They had good nurses. It was late in the evening when we got there. I was pleased with the office staff because they were very friendly. They came to us, and they welcomed us, which I think was very important; and they made sure that my mom was comfortable, because it was going to be her first night there. They had an activities director, and you could tell they were very active. They had piano, movies, and bingo. They took them out, and they had a little shop where they could buy goodies, so they were very attentive and made the residents feel alive and cared for.

mama was admitted with C-DIF. For more then a month she was stuck in her room while they gave her Vancomyician. This does not cure C-DIF it only gives a false negative. DIFICID cures C-Dif in 10 days. The night time service was poor and the doctors worked hard to avoid you. Steve the administrator said don't let go of the button until you get what you want. Do not relay on empty promises.Daytime staff was great.

Arbor Glen Care Center was very nice. The people were very nice and were very willing to answer our questions, except that they don't have private rooms. It is two or three people in a room. The staff was very nice and very helpful, and the facilities were clean. The workers there were very nice to the patients. There was a lot of them walking the patients and doing physical therapy. They were keeping them busy, so that was what I liked because that is what my sister needs.

I just drove by Arbor Glen and saw it. It's all been renovated. The staff is very nice, very cordial and very helpful. They take care of old patients very well. I'd recommend it.
