My mother spent about 5 weeks at Eureka Rehab and Wellness when she had complications from hip surgery. She was much happier there than we expected, and I was pleasantly surprised. I felt that most of the staff were very professional. She actually had to strip in front of a young male aide (really, you couldn't give her a female?) to assess for any body issues so the hospital wouldn't be responsible for ones already present, like bedsores) The facility could be improved as far as amenities such as the beds (not all work) and services like the beauty salon were inconsistently available. The occupational and physical therapists were great. The administration would get a top rating from me, except they argued about when she could leave, even though her doctor said she was free to go, but admin said she needed to stay 5 more days (what, to round out their week?) She came home immediately, and four days later she was driving her car again and out and about. I think she was well cared for.
