My mother was at Laverne Place for a short period of time. It was a private home with four other residents. She didn't like the food and overall, she didn't like it there. What I didn't like is they got her up at 7:00 or 8:00 in the morning, put her in her wheelchair and they would keep her there until about 6:00 after dinner, which is usually about 5:00. After they eat, they put them back into bed for the rest of the night and that's a long time to be in bed. That aspect I wasn't pleased about,...
