My mother is in Clovis Quality Care II. It's a board and care. It's a house, and it's very cozy. It's got a very nice kitchen and it's got a very nice staff. The overall feeling that I get from the house is that they care. It's more one-on-one, which is why we moved her out of the assisted living that she was in because she needed more care than the assisted living was able to deal with. We haven't had any issues. We're very, very happy. The owner, Patricia, is very responsive. The only negative is the internet, but we're dealing with that. The rooms are either private or shared, and my mother is in a private one. It's not as high-level care as a nursing home. They have CNAs and LVNs on staff, but if they needed anything serious, they send them to the hospital. The place seems very well maintained whenever I visit. I haven't had a meal with her there. My mother does nothing but complain about food, and I haven't heard a complaint about the food in four months. With that being said, it's got to be good food. For what we're getting, it's a good value.
