My mom has gone to Meadowood Nursing Center. It's nice, very open, and bright. The room is okay. My mom is sharing it with two other people. However, if we were going to put her in there long term, I would not want that room because it's busy with all the nurses and everybody coming in. One of the other ladies is noisy, too. My mom got a lot of people coming in to check on her. They're helping to feed her now because she is having trouble swallowing. I think they do evaluations periodically with the social worker, the doctor, the therapist, and the nurse to assess how she's doing. I don't have a list of their activities, but they have an activity room, and they were doing movement stuff like tossing a ball. That's all I happened to see as I was walking by. The dining area was the same as the activity room. They had tables set up, and I think they had like four people at each table. The social workers are really good. I was only there a day and a half. Some of the staff are good, and some of them, I feel, are not good.
