My mother is now in Country Villa Claremont Health. The place is nice and the staff there is very good. She tells them if she needs to be fed and they feed her, if she needs to be changed then they change her, and while I'm here everything is fine. My mom wouldn't eat food for a long time, but in this place, they cook homemade food or meals from scratch and she likes it. She's really happy and healthy here. They have speech therapy, physical therapy, OT, they have events, candle-lit dinners, and a lot of good things for the residents. They also have carnivals for the children. It's a very large community, it's clean, and the grass is cut, so it's nice. They have a little patio that the people can use, and we can have parties here.

My mother went there with a fractured hip, 10 days later she was in critical condition. I visited twice a day for 10 days, she got worse everyday , they were suppose to give her therapy, instead they drugged her to the point she had no idea who or where she was, she is blind and hard of hearing, I went to visit her and the food tray was all over her , she was covered in spaghetti . I visited another day and she was covered in her own feces , I asked for towels to clean her myself, it took 45 minutes for someone to come. 10 days after entering this facility she had sepsis , pneumonia , her oxygen was 72 , she also was passed out in a wheelchair, until another family member walked in and forced them to call 911at which time they rushed her to the emergency room, we almost lost her that day, she is now in another facility and is doing much better, able to walk a bit and do her therapy, she is eating at the dinner table with other patients, I would not recommend anyone to send a family member there, after 4 days they said they had no emergency number for her, even though they had mine, my nephews, my sisters and my fathers. Such a horrific experience for my family. Think Twice before sending any loved one there.

My mother-in-law was Country Villa of Claremont before she passed away. It was recommended by her doctors and it was close to home. We spent as much time with her as possible because we didn't know how much time we had. The staff was always very considerate and caring, and always offered us things. The atmosphere was very homey and caring. The faciility had 2 large patios with tables and umbrellas for the residents and their families to use. It also had a far side room where you could always have private time away from other things. It had a big table, a TV, and a fireplace. They also had a multi-purpose room where they had activities everyday for residents. My mother-in-law was in a shared a room. The first room we were in didn't work out because ours was extra small and the other person's was extra large. When they moved us to a different room, it was more equally divided and was a much nicer room. It looked out onto the garden. My husband liked the food at this facility. I liked the staff and the cleanliness of the place the most. My mother-in-law said that the facility was beautiful.

Some of the staff at this facility are rude. Especially the CNAs. They do not seem happy to be there, there is always a "dont look at me" look to their faces. Some of the CNAs dont treat the patients with respect, i have seen them on their cell phones in the patients rooms. As far as cleanliness, that faciity is pretty clean. Carpets are nice, walls are clean, restrooms smell good and are clean.

This is a 99 bed skilled nursing home with a nice big green lawn and grounds that are well manicured that is owned by a corporation. The surrounding neighborhood was nice. The interior was nice and clean as were the rooms I saw; private and semi-private. I didn’t detect any obnoxious odors as I walked around. The patients were clean and seemed as content as possible; some were seated in wheelchairs along the hallway. The food that I saw was not fresh, but the posted menu was varied. There were a lot of activities posted for patient rehab.
