My mom has been a resident at Windsor Chico care center for a number of years. The facility is smaller, which works well for my mom. The facility is clean and does not have the urine smell that can be common in other places. The staff is helpful, kind and caring. My mom feels loved and cared about! I am so thankful that my mom has such a safe and caring place to reside in. I truly believe my mom's life has been extended due to the wonderful care she receives!! I am so very thankful and appreciative of all the great staff at Windsor Chico Care Center!!

Our mother has a nice room she shares with 3 other ladies. The staff is loving and kind to her. We know that because there are time when we are on the phone with her and we hear the interactions, as well as see when we visit. We visit once a week. The food is very tasty and well prepared/presented. The physical therapists are very gentle and patient. There is a large activity room. We were able to use it for her surprise 90th birthday. The facility is an older building, but is always clean and never any odors.

My friend is currently residing at this facility. It's a very small community but is well managed. She has memory problem but staff are very helpful, knows what they're doing and takes good care of her. Front desk is nice and accommodating. I am very involved with her care and nurses are very knowledgeable. Noreen her nurse is empathetic and compassionate keeps me updated as well as Ana and Nicole, her caretaker. They're very caring, and attentive. This facility is highly recommended.

I visited Chico Care Center, we saw a couple of the rooms, walked around, and I liked it very well. The staff helped us with all we needed to know. The dining area looked set very well, it looked nice, and I thought it was one of the better ways they could have done. We agreed it would be a nice place. I liked it very well, everybody has been kind and cooperative, and if I had to start choosing again, thats probably the first one Id go to. It was easy enough to get to, it was not noisy, and they had trees around, so it was good.

My mother in law had excellent care, and the rehab team was caring, compassionate and followed through on what they set as goals. Our family was very pleased and would use their services again.

Chico Terrace has not been good. Initially, it wasn’t bad, but it was very cramped. The caretaker is lacking, and my mother is absolutely miserable there and hates it. We have been trying to keep her positive. We ask them to please not give her any pain medicine, and all of a sudden, they started her on the pain medicine, which knocks her out. We wish she was doing well. She didn't want to do physical therapy, just lie on the bed, so she started really losing it. We couldn’t even talk to her. We called an ambulance and took her out. It’s a lot like a hospital setting and really confined. They have three people in a room. They have one bathroom in the middle shared by three other people on the other side, so that's six women sharing one bathroom. The patient count per nurse is really high. However, she has a wonderful physical therapist; that part of it is good.
