I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My sister is a current patient of this facility and I am up there at least twice daily checking on her. When I first arrived, the day she came I was totally blown away by how clean the front admittance area was!, also that ice water/cups were in abundance in the foyer for anyone. The staff were very friendly and helpful and very alert as to the guidelines from CDC. I met and spent some time talking to the marketing manager, Brenda, who is absolutely amazing in my book! They have a dog, Skyler I believe his name is, who visits there a lot and is a huge hit with residents!- I’m a dog lover and rescuer, so this was big for me! I felt very comfortable with facility and staff so much that I almost asked for a work application!- too bad I’m too old!

I am/was a resident of this facility

I was a patient at the Ochards. I’m sorry I wouldn’t evev send my dog there. The room I was in was filthy. I had th clean the toilet off before I could use it. There was baseboard damage near the toilet. I did not get all my medication. They were serving a diabetic patient things she shouldn’t have. One lady was so high she couldn’t wake up to eat. Overall I was very disappointed and was checked with in 24hr..

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother is in The Orchards Post-Acute. We don't like it. She's not getting all of her medicine, she doesn't get her medicine on time. She's just in bed. They're not getting her up and getting her out, or anything like that. The physical appearance of it is fine, and it's very well kept. The other staff is very good and does what they're supposed to, but other staff doesn't answer the patients when they need help. If they would, it's hours later. They have a courtyard. They need to take better care of their patients.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

They were going through a complete remodel when my husband went into The Orchards Post-Acute. In the nine weeks he was there, he changed tremendously. They had a large physical therapy room, and they worked with him every day -- more than one time a day. When he went in at that time, his knees had collapsed. He couldn't walk when he first went in. They worked with him. Everybody seemed nice when we left. It was a whole makeover of the facility. It is very friendly to go in and everything. We were happy there, and he got what he needed.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My brother stayed at The Orchards Post-Acute for acute care and therapy. They could've done a better job with housekeeping, but it wasn't that bad either. He had a feeding tube and medical care there. There were doctors there, and his room was more like a hospital room with a hospital bed. There were two patients to a room. The staff was good, and the food had a nice variety.
