My father-in-law was in Kern River Transitional Care before he passed away. They were very good. They took excellent care of my father-in-law and answered any questions we had. They made it a lot easier with what was going on. It's very nice, very well kept, and clean. They have a very caring staff. His food looked very good. I know they had a physical therapy area. They had an area for the people that could exercise on their own, in the exercise room. They had a little beauty shop. They had an area where they go and play games with my father-in-law.

I've been to Kern River Transitional Care and I liked that place. It's a skilled nursing facility and my sister was there for a short time after surgery. They were very nice. The staff was very nice to my sister and they're also very helpful. The food was great and there was a lot of food. They're very informative too. Their rooms were very nice and clean. The part I went to was more of a hospital setting since it was skilled nursing. She was in her room, but a lot of people were also outside either dining in or on the patio outside.
