My sister is at the Meridian at Anaheim Hills. It's very, very nice. Right now, she's there in assisted living. She's pretty grumpy, but they take pretty good care of her. We just had to buy new furniture and outfit the place. She gets three meals a day and laundry, and all the things that she needs. I like the staff. They're very friendly and seem very efficient. They've got three different levels of care. There's independent living and then she's in assisted, but they have long-term care as well. For the independent they have all kinds of stuff, anywhere from bingo to outside travel, the activities you would normally have for seniors. They have some of that every day and every night, movies, and that kind of stuff. For assisted living, the people are a little more limited in their mobility. I visited several, and this was the best. The staff is always available and always helpful. They have a very nice dining hall if you can get there. Otherwise, they bring the food to your room, and my sister says the meals are good. There are plenty of things for them to do every day.

The Meridian at Anaheim Hills was nice, comfortable, and pleasant in general. They had lots of rooms to relax or read a book. Some of the apartments did not have a living room. It's just a bedroom and a bath. It's important that there's some other comfortable place to talk to people. It was close to shopping, and I'm familiar with the area. I love that some apartments already have a wheel-in shower. The staff was very nice, and friendly, and answered a lot of questions. They have a lot of good amenities. There's something more than one thing going on every single day. They have a great gym with weights and other machines. I saw the restaurant. We get a choice of two different things at dinner. The dining area was good. It has lots of windows. Some of the apartments do not have many windows. They say they have a walking trail, but I was disappointed in that because it was not on the ground. It's somehow attached to the second floor. It's an outside thing that is attached to the building. But for wheelchairs, it would be great.

The Meridian at Anaheim Hills was very clean, very nice, and very updated. It looked like they had a lot of activities. When we were there, dogs were visiting. They also had outdoor activities with a bus if they wanted to go. The dining area looked good and the accommodations looked very nice. They had some nice outdoor areas that the residents could go out to and walk. We saw a shared room that had a TV and a dresser. It was ample and it had some nice closet space. The coordinator was very knowledgeable and very accommodating. She loved her job and she had been there a long time.

The tour at The Meridian at Anaheim Hills was very comprehensive. The staff was extremely friendly and nice to us. They introduced us to some of the residents. All of the residents were lovely. They were just very friendly. The food looked beautiful. They showed us the restaurant. We spoke to a few people that were having lunch there. It was very lovely. We were also in the assisted care level. We spoke to a couple of the nurses, and they showed us the rooms and different areas. It was a very comprehensive visit of what they have. The facilities are beautiful. The restaurant was full. We went when they were serving lunch, so we could see the buffet and what's out there. Everyone was apparently enjoying it. The staff members that we met were very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very professional. Everyone certainly looked happy. They were having a few little group things going on, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I went with my father to The Meridian at Anaheim Hills for the first time. He visited friends that he has living there and I figured that was one way to get him to go to the facility. That would be the path of least resistance because he wants to stay where he is. The staff took us on a tour of a couple of units, one was a two-bedroom and one was a one-bedroom that dad liked. He wants to go back and see it again, so that's a good thing. We accidentally went to the memory care because the signs were misleading, but we didn't visit that. We went to the independent and assisted living facility because they are combined. Those people could interact with each other. It was really beautiful and clean. My father was impressed with the appearance. He liked the color scheme of the paint outside. He was a happy camper. We went on a tour and we were shown all the amenities including the ice cream parlor that they have there. The staff was very professional. She was able to show my father what he wanted to see. She was open and very flexible to do whatever my dad wanted to do in terms of touring the place. She showed us the dining area, the club room, the workout room, and they had an onsite therapist there that is a trained medical person. Dad was very impressed with the facility, and they have a huge library, too. He looks overjoyed to see that. They're working on updating the units and my father would be staying in an updated unit. The cabinetry in the updated units was nice. They did a good job. I don't know how old the facility is, but it's kept up. Even his friends who live in an old unit and they've been there for three years, they're very happy with the setup that they have.

We toured The Meridian at Anaheim Hills. We liked the different rooms, the 2-bedrooms, and the single bedrooms. We liked the layout of them and the size of them. The lady that did the tour was very, very good. She answered all our questions well and she was knowledgeable about the goings-on in the facility. We had lunch there and that was important because we have to enjoy the food if we move there and we did enjoy it. They showed us around independent living and assisted living. During the visit, we had to wear masks and they asked us if we had any of the symptoms or anything like that. The normal questions that they ask about Covid.

Meridian at Anaheim Hills was very nice. It was the most physically feasible and the most reasonably priced of the ones I visited. They had beautiful dining areas. They had the laundry rooms on each floor, and I kind of didn't like that so much. The rooms weren't very generous, but they were adequate. Unfortunately, they only had one two-bedroom, two-bath unit, and my parents are not ready to move yet, so that unit will not be available by the time they make a decision. The staff was very friendly. They lacked some things though. We came at lunch hour, and we saw people eating. They weren't doing activities at that time. Everything was clean and nice. They had a grand staircase and that was very impressive in the main lobby. They had a library, internet and everything like that available. It was the most feasible as far as physically within reach given the amenities they had.

My husband and I are delighted to be residents at the Meridian for a multitude of reasons. The staff members are always courteous and helpful. Our apartment is very comfortable and well planned with a large amount of storage spaces. The food is both nutritious and delicious, and it affords a sweet variety. The transportation provided is necessary for medical and shopping purposes. We are very happy here.

I visited this facility several times recently to explore it as an option for my mom. Each time, I received a very welcome reception. The hospitality is amazing and every resident I encountered looked happy to be there. I am very impressed with the community and all its amenities. Not only is it a place in which my mom will be happy to live, it's a place where I will enjoy visiting her often!

I'm giving 5 stars and thank you to the wonderful people at Meridian at Anaheim Hills. Last month Jaydell help us with setting up an independent apartment for my brother Tom who we were moving out of the family home into Meridian. He was very excited and my daughter and I was so impressed with everything they have to offer. From the actives each day, the meals and just how clean everything is. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It's a beautiful location and anyone looking for a place to move to I would highly suggest the Meridian at Anaheim Hills. Patty Estrella

The facility is top notch. Gorgeous surroundings and the staff is the best. I have a very difficult situation and they are helping me navigate it every step of the way! The rooms are beautiful and floorplan with 2 bedrooms is the largest I found which is very important to us. I am excited to have my parents in a safe, beautiful, caring environment.

I toured The Meridian at Anaheim Hills. I liked it, but it's just too big of a place for my friend to be in. I've been there three times. That place is very beautiful. They're very pleasant. It's a nice place. I'd like to stay there when I'm old. The staff was very knowledgeable. It's just beautiful there. You drive up and there's this waterfall and it's very pretty. It's very clean and very well kept. It's also directly across the street from where I live. They have everything. They have a courtyard. I saw these women who were in this one room, and they were playing bowling where it was on the TV. Then we went into another room, and they had popcorn, and I had some popcorn. Then the staff took me into the salon. They have a salon, and you can get a massage there. It's very big and beautiful.

I have lived here for nearly four years. Leaving the facility for a few hours and coming back just feels like coming home. My apartment has a gorgeous mountain view that reminds me of where I grew up. The staff is friendly and professional and always eager to assist me. Prior to moving here, I had reached a point of not wanting to ever go grocery shopping and cooking again. Here, I am always looking forward to the wholesome meals they will serve me.

I moved my mother to the Meridian after she was displaced in the Santa Rosa fires. I had been looking for a place for months and had pretty much decided but wanted her to visit first for her approval. But then suddenly she was living in a high school shelter while waiting to see if her home would even be there. The Meridian not only welcomed her but provided temporary furniture, a bed/bedding and even a television. Since then she has really enjoyed the community, made friends and has gotten involved with many activities. She feels very much at home.

My family member is at The Meridian at Anaheim Hills, and it's going great. The staff is very attentive. They learn your name and know who you belong to and who you're going to visit. I've only eaten there maybe once or twice, but the food was good, and she loves it. They have quite a variety. They had to close, but they are opening again slowly but surely, like in the common areas and in the lobby. They do a lot of walking around the facility. I think that's mostly what she does with some of the other ladies that are there. They have salon and nails, but she has not tried that yet. Her room has ample space for a person or two, even in the one-bedroom. I know that they have activities, but I don't know if she is participating in them.

The Meridian at Anaheim Hills was quite nice. I really liked it, but I don't want that kind of drive. I don't like that kind of traffic, otherwise, the place itself was very nice. The staff was very pleasant, and she answered any questions. It's an easy place to find, but for me, I don't want that kind of commute. It is great for somebody who is living in that direction already. I like the older theme that it has/the way it is set up. It is a pretty place. They have a beautiful fountain outside, a lot of parking space, and the dining room is very nice. There seemed to be a lot of nice people there. The rooms were nice and spacious enough. We looked at one that was for sharing and then the other one was just by itself, which was a little bit dark. The staff was very pleasant.

We went to The Meridian at Anaheim Hills. The lady who showed us the place was very nice. We met other people too. They're very friendly and very kind. They showed us two apartments. The closets were small, and the rooms were small. They had an open kitchen concept, which my mother hated. They had a lot of brown on the floor and dark brown furniture. The kitchens were all updated, but with brown cabinets. My mother didn't like that because it was too dark for her. They were open and they were having games and exercises. Other than the fact that the room wasn't for my mother, it was good. The dining area for the assisted living was open. It was right across the hall from where she was going to be. My mother walks with a walker, so she could just get there very easily, and that was a very nice convenience. We asked them for some lunch. We had some soup and the soup was pretty good. My mother liked it. We only met one or two people and they were very nice and very kind. The facility was very nice. Another thing I didn't like about The Meridian, it had the air conditioning and heating unit on the floor in the living room. It was ugly and it took up some space.

The Meridian of AH has serviced our family beyond our hopes and expectations. The clear approach of leadership and ALL staff is to provide a safe, secure, and enjoyable environment for residents. My father has been treated with respect and the utmost, attentive care. Meridian staff has established stellar communication with our family. We were ALWAYS made aware of any concerns or steps taken on my dad's behalf. We completely trust the integrity of the leadership and staff. The Meridian has been a safe harbor in our maiden voyage through my father's "golden years"....(Highest recommendation!)

The extremely caring and helpful staff, a safe and welcoming environment and fun activities made it such a wonderfully comfortable place for our dad. All this, therefore, made our family so very comfortable about having our dad reside here. A HUGE thanks goes to the entire Meridian crew!!!

My parents who have passed loved The Meridian. Staff is above description.

The Meridian at Anaheim Hills has been a wonderful placement for my mother because it is across the street from my house. My mother is healthy, strong, athletic, and completely ambulatory, but she hallucinates, sees delusions, and hears voices. She is paranoid and panics, so I am there most of the time doing the showering and toileting because she puts up such a fight that it would be an assault on one of their caregivers. I looked into placements that were Lewy body specific, but they're very rare, and none are close to my house. It is not working out ideally because I'm still there 10 hours a day, but she is safe. I also think the doctor and the staff there is fantastic. I approve, appreciate, and have a good dialogue with her doctor about the medication that she is on. I agree with the method of operation on how they approach her. Anytime she has an appointment, I am there because she will not allow the doctor to put the heart rate monitor on her finger unless she sees him put it on mine first. That's how paranoid she is. They have been very compassionate in letting me be as hands-on as I want. However, they can't shower her, they can't change her, they can't force her to the bathroom, she has not gone to one activity, she doesn't leave her room, and she doesn't get out of her bed. Nevertheless, I spend hours a day there and I see acts of kindness when no one is looking. I see caregivers hugging and kissing some of the residents and telling them they love them. The place itself is kind of grandiose. There is a large very formal dining room with a chef and beautiful food, and they serve it to you on fine china. There is a salad bar and fruit bar. However, that is in the main building for assisted living and independent living. However, my mom being in memory care would have no idea how to walk down the hall and get there. Their rooms are shared and private rooms with patios. They also have fully furnished exquisitely decorated rooms with bistros set out on patios. It depends on the amount of money you want to pay.

I visited The Meridian. They had dogs running around, dogs running into the dining room, and they were not checking people coming in and out. We almost left when we got there. The rooms smelled bad, and it was horrible. They had birds in cages in the lobby, but it was less expensive. We met the cook, and he had sauce on his shirt. It was all coming down his shirt, and it was really bad.

With the environment at The Meridian at Anaheim Hills, I felt like I walked into a hotel. It gave me a different feeling. Walking down the halls, everybody had decorations out on their doors. Residents have small open spaces before their front doors and everyone was decorating them for Christmas. I love the rooms. They were very nice with lots of closet spaces. They even had full kitchens in them. They were wonderful. We had lunch at The Meridian and it was excellent. They did have a number of gluten-free patients, so they were able to accommodate me very nicely. They have a gym, so you have an opportunity to use any of the equipment in there. The lady that took us around knew the community well and answered my questions. It was very thorough. We spent quite a bit of time talking to the activities director. She does many creative things with the residents. She was very fun to talk to. Every staff member that I talked to or who helped me was topnotch, polite, and more than helpful. They have a lot to offer.

My dad is in The Meridian at Anaheim Hills. The food is outstanding. The community is nice and clean. When the marketing department offers to sell the property, they will tell you that they will do this and this, but once you are one in, you will not see them. I have been waiting for two months to have a key to my dad's room so I can get in there without needing help, but they have ignored me. He has a couple of helpers who are very nice. They do bingo a couple of times a week and have ice cream socials. My dad is doing OK there.

The Meridian at Anaheim Hills was beautiful. It had the room I would have loved. They were very nice. It was a beautiful place, I would have loved to go there, but I thought I would be better off in the long run where I’m now. Food was very good. The dining area was a beautiful room. The Meridian at Anaheim Hills is very nice; however, I didn’t like them separating people. If you’re in a place like that and you get to a point where you need help, you have to move to a different room, and I didn’t like that idea.

For several years my family had suggested that my dad move closer to us. He did not want to leave his house; however, after visiting the Meridian he had a complete change of mind. Jaydell gave us a tour of the Meridian and invited us to stay for lunch; the food was absolutely delicious! I'm fairly certain that this was the selling point for my dad. Besides loving the food, my dad felt at home in his apartment - it was exactly what he needed. Also, the employees at the Meridian are so respectful of the inhabitants - the dining room attendants, the front desk, the housekeeping staff, and the management are friendly to anyone who walks through the front door. My dad's neighbors stated that they love their place because of the friendliness all over. The Meridian is a clean living environment with happiness on every floor.

Thank you for your positive review! We are very proud of our community and the exceptional level of care we provide. It means so much to us that you entrusted us with the care of your father and we are delighted that you and he are happy here! We understand what a hard decision this is for families and we want them to know that we care about your loved ones and will treat them like our own. Meridian at Anaheim Hills was a very large facility and had all sorts of the activities. While I was waiting in the lobby, I talked to all sorts of people who were very happy. You have to be more mobile than my mother was to be there. The staff people were very helpful, had all of the information that we needed, and made us feel very comfortable.

I visited The Meridian at Anaheim Hills for my dad. The facility was very nice. It was very first day of work for the lady who showed me around, but she was really nice. The facility itself was very nice and looked clean. Rooms were not huge apartments, but they were nice. I was looking at studios because of cost constraints. I don't have anything bad to say about it. The day I was there, there was a pianist doing a sing-a-long in the common area.

The room in Meridian was clean. They were going to re-carpet, and re-paint for us. We love that we won’t cook anymore, and they’re going to serve three meals a day. They served us lunch, and it was delicious. There’s plenty of activities there.

We’re already living in The Meridian at Anaheim Hills. My daughter chose it, but I like it very much. It’s close to where we used to live, and the number one thing is that you don’t have to buy into it. The staff is really nice, so we like them a lot. I am a happy resident. I’m very pleased, and I love the apartment. It’s a two-bedroom, two-bathroom; I love it.

My parents are at The Meridian at Anaheim Hills. It is independent living, assisted living, and memory care all in one facility. It is a very nice place. The lobby and the dining room are all very well appointed. The sales staff was very helpful and very caring. The people at the front desk are very nice. The residents seem to be very friendly to my parents. My parents are in the independent living. They're in a fine little apartment.

I already moved my mother to the Meridian at Anaheim Hills. She was living in the area and we had to move her to assisted living. We chose this place because of the price and the location. She has a remodeled room; they took a two-bedroom and split it to a single one, so the flooring, the carpet, and everything had been remodeled. The staff so far has been great. We've asked them to do a couple of extra things and pay attention to her water intake and such, and they have been really helpful with that. They are also helping her with her hearing aids, so we are satisfied thus far, and she has been there for almost two months.

My Mom a current resident of this faciity. We have been disappointed from the minute she moved in. One the day my mom moved in I left my purse in the dining room and went back to retrieve it a couple of hours later to find no one had seen it. When it was discovered later that day in another area of the facility, the $300 cash was missing. Administration responded by sending me to Anaheim police to file a claim. Did not verbalize to me any responsibility. Lack of responsibility to residents has been a continuing theme I have observed in the time since then. Activities are posted that imply the facility is organizing and supervision them, but most all of these are private activities organized by residents with 'pre-determined participants'. A resident is not free to show up at the listed time and in as the bridge, or other games/ card games already have an organized group. It is hard for a new comer to find things to do when the facilities does not oversee these activities themselves to see that all interested residents get the chance to play. Food is mediocre, lacking freshly cooked vegetables. No food can be removed to be taken back to snack on later in there own unit. Several times hot water has been missing for several days at a time so residents cannot bath except in cold water - isn't there a health law about this?? Recently an elevator was down for an extended time and some residents were 'trapped' on their floor because they could not use stairs and only one elevator per floor. I could go on and on with many other disappointing aspects of this facility. My suggestion - stay away!

We did choose The Meridian because it was closest to where my mom lived before. The rooms were fine. The staff seemed to be pretty courteous. The activities were fine although my mom needs to get better physically before she can start participating activities. I know they do arts and crafts, they watch movies, and sometimes they have people come to the facility to demonstrate things. Right now they are remodeling their dining area, but it's good and I like it.

Do NOt place anyone you care about at this facility. There are too few staff, the staff is undertrained, and the communication between supervisory staff is poor at best. It looks lovely, but the care is poor. My mother, a resident, fell, fractured a femur and clavicle and the staff and management were unaware that she was injured. When she was ordered into a brace by an orthopedic doctor, the staff was not briefed on her care, or movement limitations, They removed the brace and did not seat her properly in the wheelchair. They were expecterd to read care notes. No staff meetings were held to communicate care needs.

The Meridian is my mom's choice because she likes it and thinks she would fit to it best. It is as nice place and they seem to have a lot of happy people there. Their rooms are larger than most of the facilities and it has a separate bedroom. It is more of a senior living, but it has assisted living attached to it so you can pay for what you need.

I had a professional tour of this facility and was most impressed with the warm/cozy feel of the environment. It is located in a beautiful, safe community that is family oriented. The interior is beautiful and ver homelike. As you walk down the hallways, you see beautiful paintings on the walls and the carpeting is very tasteful.. They are upgrading the rooms and I saw the old and new rooms. The rooms are spacious with nice views of lush gardens. The area is very quite and perfect for older people. There is a shopping center accross the street to include CVS pharmacy and Fresh & Easy Market. I was in the independent living section and observed how happy the resident's looked. It was dinner time and the food smelled really good. The piano was playing during dinner and it seemed like a real social expreience. Family members were present in the dining room, sharing a meal with their loved one.I would highly recommend this facility. I left with a really good feeling.
