I was at Rancho Mesa Care Center. The physical therapy was good. I got a lot stronger and better. The food was not very good because I'm so picky. They kept giving me the kind of things that I don't like. Even though I told them over and over, they'd still give me what I didn't like. I was trying to get my appetite back, and so that wasn't helpful. The CNAs were very great. They worked very hard. They tried to get me a wheelchair, but my insurance wouldn't cover it. I was in one room with three other people, and they all spoke Spanish all the time. They were really loud and noisy. Then I was moved to another room, where it was just one other person. It was nice, quiet, and peaceful. I like that. They have rooms where it's two or three or four in a room. Because of COVID, we had to stay in our room. The activity would be coloring, or they let us go outside sometimes. That was nice because then you get exposed to the nice trees, birds, and the mountains.
