In nearby Port St. Lucie, assisted living costs an average of $4,399 per month, about 25% higher than in Miami. To the west in Naples, monthly costs are even higher at $4,550. While the average cost in Orlando is $200 higher than in Miami, other Central Florida cities have lower assisted living costs. For example, on the Gulf Coast, Tampa seniors pay $3,225 per month for assisted living care. Inland in Sebring, costs are even lower at $2,895. Further north in the Panhandle, seniors pay some of the state’s highest assisted living prices. Panama City’s average cost is $5,161, while the monthly average is $5,506 in the state capital, Tallahassee.
