To help shed light on real senior living prices, Caring.com has compiled proprietary cost data from its network of more than 75,000 senior living providers to provide insight into the average cost of assisted living in San Jose and 200 other cities in California.
Eligible California seniors can get help paying for assisted living through Medi-Cal, the state’s Medicaid program. For seniors who qualify, the state offers the Assisted Living Waiver Program designed to aid those who are seeking care outside of the home. There are no non-state programs available.
