Despite the state it’s located in, Riverside County is a cheap option for assisted living. Cost data isn’t available for the county as a whole, but information for the Riverside area, which includes the county’s principal city of Riverside, shows that local seniors pay just $3,900 per month for care.
Riverside County is among the most economical regions in California for assisted living, with facilities charging approximately $3,900 per month. The only surveyed city with lower monthly care fees is Bakersfield, where fees are roughly $300 lower at $3,613 monthly. In Yuba City, care costs are consistent with the national average at $4,343 per month, and in the San Diego area, fees come in at $4,525. The monthly rate in the Los Angeles area is equal to the state median at $5,000, and in El Centro, fees are considerably higher at $5,825.
