Free Assisted Living Resources in Palo Alto
There are numerous free resources and programs available to Palo Alto’s senior community. Seniors can participate in volunteer opportunities, receive assistance to plan for long-term care and be connected with other helpful agencies in the area.
The main responsibility of long-term care ombudsmen is the defense of elder rights in assisted living communities. Seniors and their families can reach out to a staff member to report any facility-related problems, including financial abuse, denial of services, verbal or physical mistreatment and low-quality care.
