Although they offer different services in the home, both in-home care agencies (nonmedical) and home health care agencies (medical) have the same monthly fee of $5,768. This is significantly costlier than assisted living’s average of $4,000 in Modesto although it’s not as expensive as nursing home care, which averages $10,463 for a semiprivate room.
