This is similar to the anticipated percentage increase nationally from $4,070 to $4,802. California's rates are expected to rise by 13%, or from $4,625 to $5,221, by 2024. Other California cities also going up by about 18% include Sacramento ($4,995-$5,893), San Francisco ($7,099-$8,375) and Fresno ($3,159-$3,727).
