We toured La Posada Assisted Living & Memory Care Community, and it seemed like a very caring community. The people there seemed to be happy. The staff was very nice. They were able to answer all our questions. The rooms and the common area looked nice. It's all-new, and the rooms were good-sized.

I just had a very brief tour here. It's very roomy and homey. I really liked it. I liked the staff, the accommodations, and the attention that they provide to the residents. The apartments were clean. The lady we met was very helpful. She assisted me in every way possible. The dining area was very large. It's like a banquet style, so it accommodated a lot of the residents. They do movies, they have games, and they let the residents go to the courtyard and sit out and just relax.

I toured the assisted living. The only thing I was disappointed in it was that I could not visit my loved ones in their apartment because I'm not vaccinated. This is in Los Angeles County, Los Angeles, and it is just very strict as far as COVID. Other than that, I was very pleased. I came unannounced, and it was 5:30 p.m. Dinner was waiting for the staff there, but she said goodbye to me an hour and 45 minutes later. She also offered me some food. I noticed some residents were watching some movies they choose that were interesting, too. They're classics and not just little silly flicks. There was a woman in the activity room, and the salesperson knew her by name. Their rooms had character. The staff said, "I go up to IKEA and get ideas on how to use space." So she was giving me ideas since it's unfurnished. She was very helpful, positive, and upbeat. She's an excellent tour guide. She answered questions and offered ideas. She introduced me to the memory care person who I really appreciated. She was very, very caring of the residents. She said, "I've been here for several years. I love this." The tour guide gave me an opportunity to meet other people, especially the staff. She showed me the rooms. They were empty, which is fine because I don't need to see a model one. I saw one room that opened onto the bathroom, which seemed even more spacious. And there were studios, which pricewise works well and is doable, and yes, they did have an opening.

I couldn't have found a better place for my Mom. The staff there is wonderful. They took such great care of my Mom until she passed away. I would highly recommend this facility. It is more like a home environment than a care facility. Each resident has a spacious room and you can decorate it how you choose. My Mom enjoyed the ladies at her dining table and the food was good. Every time I visited the home they treated me like family and was truly so beautiful to see such an amazing staff care for someone I love so much. I would recommend this over many retirement homes in the area. I toured most of them and Posada was the best fit I found by a long shot.

La Posada was wonderful. With this one, we wouldn't even look any further had they had availability. The apartments were roomy. They had lots of activities going on. They had different activity rooms. The staff was more than generous in helping and answering questions. The dining area looked great. La Posada would have been our first choice but they were full. It was more expensive, but the staff was wonderful. They had a small outdoor patio, which was nice. They had lots of activities going on, which was nice for people if they're in the assisted living part.

La Posada is an assisted living, it's terrific, the staff is absolutely fantastic, and the food is good. They have all kinds of activities, games, they even give them haircuts, and clip their toenails. There are nurses on duty all the time. They're an absolutely great facility. They also have hospice. It's a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for. The food is very good.
