There are also games rooms, Wi-Fi throughout and regular organized day trips. Most activities are free, although some incur a small charge to cover costs. The center is open every day, except Sundays, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays, 5 p.m. on Fridays and 9 p.m. the rest of the week.
Medical Lending Center(623) 977-4661Youngtown Community Fund Inc. is a well-established nonprofit that loans medical equipment for free to residents of Peoria and several neighboring cities. As the organization depends on donations it can't guarantee all equipment will be available at the time of the request. Typical loans include 2 and 4-wheel walkers, crutches, wheelchairs, canes and commode chairs. Loans can be for up to 4 months, with donations gratefully accepted.
