We've decided to keep my father at Presbyterian Village. What I like best about this place is the staff. They genuinely care about the residents. They truly are a very caring group of individuals - from nurses, to the staff that work in the kitchen, to the people that clean the rooms. They're just really sweet people. I like the activities that they have. I also like the transportation to doctors' visits. I like their communication with family members about what's going on. I really have not found anything that I don't like. The food is good, nutritious, and there are plenty of choices. They have an activities director, they have four to five different activities every day. They have a chapel and a chaplain so you can attend church. They have cottages for those that are more independent. They have laundry services and transportation not only to doctors' visits, but also to grocery stores and outings.

All of the people at Presbyterian Village seemed friendly. They had a lot of activities, and everybody we met was really nice. The rooms were adequate, very well-maintained, and very clean. Everything in the whole place was very clean. They had a courtyard in the middle that you could sit in and watch the fountain, flowers, or the animals like the squirrels and the birds. They had cottages if you want a bigger place.

The staff was very unfriendly at Presbyterian Village. I would not recommend it. The rooms were very small. It was an older building. The dining area was nice.

The place is getting a little old and the price is a little less but it's still comfortable and all. The units were ok but it's just separate if you need to go to meals and you'll be exposed to the weather and that sort of thing. I looked at their apartment with 2 bedrooms and this is what my friend is in. It is quite adequate and nice. My friend is very happy there. In fact his brother moved there shortly after him. He indicated that they have what they advertise like plenty of activities inside.

I was so impressed from the moment that I walked into this facility. The staff members were really nice; they were so kind with assisting me to my family friend location. I went up stairs to her apartment. I was so impressed with how nice her apartment was. The room wasn't as big as the room at her old home, but it was big enough for her. The room was really clean and the staff members came by many times to ask if we needed anything. The activity director was really nice, she came by to see if she wanted to attend the activity that was planned for the day. She said no because she had a guest; the activity director was so nice she told her that she would leave the activity out for her to do latter. I thought this was really nice. I stayed for a while because she wanted me to eat dinner with her. I wasn't sure if it was alright, so she asked a staff member for an extra dinner ticket. I told the staff member what I wanted to order. I was shocked because the food was so delicious. After, eating I left and the staff members were really helpful with helping me find my way out. Last but not least, the building is a little older, but has been updated. And the decorations are really nice.
