My Mom lived at Peachtree and would still be living there if it weren’t for her dementia progressing to the point where she needed memory care. The building is older and the facility could use an update, but the staff is competent and caring which is the most important thing to us. It was always clean and never smelled. There are lots of activities for the residents and everyone was friendly and welcoming. I wish my mom could have lived at Peachtree longer.

Peachtree Village of Fort Smith has beautiful apartments. I would have to get rid of a lot of stuff, but I could live in them. The apartment they have is one big room with a bathroom connected to a bedroom. The kitchen, the dining room, and the living room are there, too. They're not set up for cooking and baking, but they will allow a toaster/oven or an air fryer and a coffee maker so I can make coffee in the morning. They've got activities. You can take trips that they will arrange, and all you have to do is to say yay or nay that you want to get into it. You are free for religious preference. It seems like they have a visiting minister, and they will conduct a service in the dining room. You can have guests during the day, but you may not have anyone overnight. They were very patient and knowledgeable. Although I only heard what I wanted to hear I didn't have any questions. They kind of had a prepared tour. They had very nice apartments. I am an amateur radio operator, and if I moved in, I could put an antenna on my patio. They offered cable television if you wanted it. Everything else you pay for, whether you want it or not. Like the big dining room and the cleaning service. They have laundry on the wing per floor. So everything was right there and the laundry is included in your monthly fee. They offered a very good menu. If you don't want the planned meal, you can get an a la carte. No extra charge. If you don't like vegetables, they will have an alternative. Although everything is meat, potatoes, greens, and salads, you've got your choice, and you can take what you want. It wasn't like a school lunch where they gave you a tray with food on it. It's above my living standards. It is quite a resort to me. Everything was very clean and organized. The air was fresh. It was not like an old people's home. They knew their job. They didn't just go above and beyond, but they were very capable with their job.

We toured Peachtree Village of Fort Smith. The staff was excellent. It wasn't a top facility, but it was very nice. It was about to be lunchtime and they offered us food there. The room was very nice. However, it did not have the things that I wanted like a garbage disposal or a dishwasher.

I have 2 family members currently residing at Peachtree South in Ft. Smith. The building is not new, and the decor is outdated, but it is clean and does not smell like a nursing home. This particular facility is chronically understaffed but the ones that work there do try their best. They have a bus that takes people on outings but if you need a wheelchair lift you are out of luck as their bus does not have one. The activity director tries her best to keep everyone busy with lots of activities which is great! But the food leaves much to be desired. I suspect the kitchen budget is small, which forces the kitchen staff to often make do with whatever ingredients they are provided. Overall the facility is clean, the staff Helps everyone who lives there with basic activities of daily living. They provide mental stimulation with activities including church on Sundays. They have a hair salon on site with a lady who will even cut nails for a nominal fee. This is an awesome service to have on site. They have staff that will assist with medication management. If your loved one is mobile, they can ride the bus to appointments if they are in town. If you are looking for a facility that cost less than the others and don't mind outdated decor with minimal staff this is the place for you. If your loved one requires significant assistance, especially in the mobility department, or they are high maintenance. Then you should probably look elsewhere.

Peach Tree Village is hands down the best Assisted Living Community in the River Valley and I say community because it's not just a "facility!" Everyone is helpful and will do anything they can to help you. The Administrator Ms. April is amazing, the activities with Ms. Tammie are so, so much fun and Ms. Donna and her kitchen staff make sure that the food is delish as well as Ms. Crystal takes care of all of the medications and Dr appointments! All of that combined with the awesome floor team, med techs and housekeeping sets Peach Tree apart from other "facilities" and if you or a family member are looking for a place to call home I would highly recommend Peach Tree Village!

We visited and liked the assisted living at Peachtree Village in Fort Smith. They were very caring and very helpful. We saw the apartments. The residents are able to have their own front door and a little bit of a yard, a deck in the back of their yard, or at their back door depending on where they are located. It's a good size, it wasn't real small. Bathrooms were a good size as well. It felt more like an apartment rather than living in a lockdown. The staff was excellent. The person that we spoke to, I believe her name was Amy, she was the administrator, and she was very nice and very helpful. She answered a lot of our questions. We even came back a second time that day to show our parents the room and she was just extremely helpful. The rooms were very nice. We looked at a two-bedroom and a one-bedroom, and they both were very nice. They had nice, laminated wood floors. You walk right into a living area, they had a bedroom at both sides, and both were a good size. They had a kitchen area but did not have a stove. They said you could have microwaves or maybe use a crockpot if you had something you wanted to cook. Bathroom was a good size and, of course, handicap accessible. So it was more of an apartment, not a tiny little room that's just in the four walls.

My mother and I have been very pleased with Peachtree. She really feels at home and enjoys the company of the other residents. The grounds and buildings are well maintained. According to my mother, their food is significantly better than even one of the much more costly facilities she used to live at. The apartments are well laid out; even her smaller single bedroom apartment has ample storage and plenty of room. She has a full kitchen and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. The rates are quite favorable as well. They have a shuttle that takes residents to various stores and appointments throughout the week. My mom enjoys getting out of the house and going shopping with friends. The staff has been very supportive. My mother had a bad drinking habit and they helped her kick it and provide daily encouragement. Needless to say we're all really happy with the place and would recommend it to others.

The Peachtree Village assisted living facility was very helpful in granting my father a place to live while he needed assistance that wasn't available elsewhere. The staff were very helpful and great to work with, nobody better in my opinion. All of the facilities were top-notch and very, very clean, which makes a big difference in my eyes, it shows that the company cares about not only the patients, but their guests as well.
