I was searching for an assisted living home for my uncle who was 99 years old and needed help with daily living. I wanted someplace that felt like home where he would get personal attention, home cooked meals and daily companionship. Bridge Loyal Assisted Living provided all of those things - and more! Once he moved in I never worried about the kind of care he would receive. I knew he was loved and well cared for!

Bridge Royal Assisted Living was totally different from the other places I went to. I mean, it's basically just a converted house that could accommodate up to five guests. There were three guests there. I thought the staff there were wonderful. I would say that they would probably receive a higher level of maintenance or attention than what I'm afraid they may get at the other places. They had a great room with greenery and a kitchen. They have a garden with a pool. They do have transportation to take them to the doctor's appointments and go into town. They said the guests like to go to the Burger King, so they'll take them to Burger King.

We went to Bridge Loyal Assisted Living, but I didn't care for it. The gentleman that took us around does cooking and helps out; he's like an aide. I was impressed, he was a good hearted gentleman, and the owner was very passionate. However the home is older and meant for a different class of life. It's more for a very family oriented and a very home-oriented person. They have five beds available, it's in a home, it's simple, and it's home for a lot of people. It was not a place I could see for my dad, or my dad could see himself. As far as I'm concerned, it was too overpriced. The rooms were a little tight, a little cluttered, with outdated furniture, and it was not laid out open. It was dark, and the hall wasn't very light.

Bridge Loyal was smaller and did not have bathrooms in each room, which I feel my mother would need. It was on a busy highway. They did have good amenities. It sounded like they had hospice and a doctor who would come to the house. They had entertainment that came in at different times. It was a nice place but wouldn’t be my choice.
