Our Assisted Lifestyle promotes our Senior Resident to live as independently as they wish and includes three (3) meals per day, weekly housekeeping, up to 2 hours of scheduled personal care per day and 24/7 On-Site dedicated Health Care personnel; which will collectively meet our Senior Resident’s needs. I used to live at The Manor Village at Desert Ridge and I would not recommend it to anybody. The food was up and down. The facility looked nice when you first walked in there until you figured out that it wasn't. The lobby looked nice and then you saw this little bar, but the bar was never open. You weren't allowed to be in the lounge. They didn't like hanging out there. They had stupid rules and they couldn't keep a staff there because they didn't pay enough money. The building was brand new, but they didn't have a walkway. It was really inconvenient. The elevators were always crowded. Plus, they had memory care. If they had had some entertainment (I was in the independent living), they moved all the memory care people and all that stuff out there. It was just bad. They are charging way too much money. I was there for two years and my rent went up over 20% in two years. One of my biggest complaints is you had to get up at 7:00 if you wanted to eat breakfast and then they closed. You had to go down at 11:00 if you wanted lunch then they closed. Then you had to go down at 4:00 if you wanted dinner, then they closed. Everything was about them, not the residents.
