Greenfields is a nice place. I was in an apartment that was outside of the building. It has wood floors, a pretty white kitchen, and a nice bathroom. The staff was really good. They got caregivers 24-hours a day. They also have med techs who would explain the medicine to you and give your medicine at a right time. It's a comfortable place to stay. However, one of their nurses didn't really have people skills. I suggest that maybe she should be trained with some people skills.

This place is bad news, the owner who goes by Dr Jan is dishonest and his sidekick Mae(wife) is even worse. they badmouth residents to other families, the food is horrible unless you like soup and leftovers everyday! The house is not clean and they keep residents in recliners ALL day to make it easy on them and there are no activities at all. Do not fall for Dr Jan as he will try and sell you that he is the perfect owner with his past but all of that is smoke and mirrors. Please do not put a loved one in this facility as they are part of the problem that gives group homes a bad name!

My son is curently staying in Greenfield Assisted Living Community. He has a two-bedroom apartment there. The staff takes care of all his medicines and they also take him to his doctor's appointments. He is doing really good there. When you eat in their big dining room, you feel like you're in a restaurant with their white linen tablecloth. In terms of amenities, they got just about everything, nice TV and game rooms and a barber shop for example. This community is very nice and I really like it.

My father was in this Assisted Living and the new company bought them and they have gone all over to upgrade and make this place so much better. The new director and nurse are so great. My dad feels like a part of a family!!!! The activities are non stop. The new chef is the best cook, my husband and I love going there to eat. We don't care that the building is older; its the love that runs it!

My grandfather has alzheimers and is living in Greenfield's assisted living. I was skeptical about sending him there, but I could not help him on my own. When I first brought him there, the staff accepted him with open arms. They were very warm and welcoming. The staff was pleasant and seem to work very well with him. Any time I go to visit, the procedure for visiting goes very smoothly. They have doctors on staff that monitor him weekly. The doctors are very educated and work well with him and the elderly in general. I would definitely recommend Greenfields Assisted Living to anyone who needs help. They are all very kind there and very organized. I wish I would have known about this place sooner, but now that I have found it, I am so grateful. It is reasonably priced and I am so thankful. Thank you Greenfields Assisted Living.

My mother and I visited this facility as it is near my home, but we both weren't thoroughly impressed. It appears to be an older building with a small hospital or clinic-type feel. We entered through automatic double doors and my mother said she felt like she was checking in at the hospital. We spotted a few residents, one in particular was a gentleman sitting by himself in a wheelchair. He didn't seem unhappy as he smiled at us and then we did notice as a nurse walked by she greeted him by name and joked with him by saying, "You're being good today right? I'm watching you." My mom and I both assumed he simply enjoyed "hanging out" in the hallways to people watch. I got the distinct impression that Greenfields was a lower-budget facility, not a lot of fancy decorations or extras like I'd seen in other facilities. My mother said within about ten minutes of arriving, "Nevermind." Which is her way of saying, no thanks.

Greenfields is a low budget facility trying to keep going financially. I have seen residents treated kindly - -most are there not by choice but because they cannot afford anything fancier. There is no budget for any frills. They appreciate volunteers who will help with entertainment and activities. There is a high turn-over in the staff.

This facility was a major disappointment for my family. They forgot to order prescriptions, lost medications, double charged us as well as lost checks for payments. The unprofessional way this facility is run is simply not acceptable. My father often complained of the lack of compassion from much of the administrative staff, though loved many of his nurses (most of his favorites were let go). We have since switched facilities and we as well as our father couldn't be happier!
