I love it and I think it's the most wonderful place in the state of Alabama. I'd love to be there but after going through all my bills and everything, there's just no way that I can afford it. I had been over there because I had a friend that was over there. I don't think there's anything else out there that can beat that one. The community is excellent and if I had the money, I'd be there today. I liked every bit of it. It's a place that you can be happy in. Everybody was so nice. I met a lot of people. I ate lunch with them and it was an excellent meal. The little studio that I hoped I could get was perfect for me. Everything about it was perfect. Everybody was so friendly. The staff during the tour was excellent, very jolly, and happy, introduced me to everybody, and invited me to have lunch with them. It couldn't have been any better. I told her I wanted to be here. She says, "Well, we want you here." She was the one I mainly talked to, but then I met several of the other staff, and I was just very, very pleased. They were just over and beyond, a ten-plus. They have wonderful activities and every time they mentioned something, I just got more excited.

I toured Asher Point Independent Living of Mobile. The tour was good. I like that it's almost all-inclusive and there are other residents around for my mother. They were awesome. Everybody was very friendly. The structure of the building was good. They had a recent fire, but that's on the list to get fixed, they said. But everything else looked good. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. The room was very nice. We were interested in the studio apartment, which was roomy considering it was a studio.

The grounds and layout were great. There's plenty of parking for the residents. The layout of the rooms was great. One of the rooms we looked at had a balcony and a view. The staff was great. She showed us around. She answered all our questions and handled all our concerns. The menu was good. It was an open dining facility, so it was great. For activities, they love bingo and happy hour.

We visited and it was immaculate and everything one would need was there. They had a beauty parlor and a barbershop. You wouldn't have to leave that place. They had studio apartments and they had 1-bedroom apartments. They had refrigerators but they didn't have stoves or microwaves in there. The staff was very informative and very friendly. We ate lunch there, and the food was good.

It was a nice community. They had friendly and helpful staff. Their apartments were better than some of the regular apartments around. They're really nice, spacious, and clean. The staff who gave us the tour was extremely helpful. She answered all my questions, and she gave me the tour of the building. She's competent and knowledgeable. With regards to activities, the residents were getting ready to go somewhere. I also saw the dining facility where they gather for different events. The staff showed us some pictures of activities they've done in the past with the residents. In the apartment they had a refrigerator. They also had washers and dryers in the common shared space. I saw a patio with nice flowers around. There was a staff member pushing a resident around in a wheelchair looking at the scenery.

I went here. It was convenient, and it was clean. The people there were nice. The rooms were adequate. The only thing that I had a problem with was the money. I like the place; it's the one I'm shooting for. The staff who showed me around was very helpful and nice. I saw some exercise equipment there, too. They have a patio and a really big game room. There were some people gathered up in there and they were playing some kind of game. There was nothing off in the room she showed me. It didn't have a patio, a porch, or anything. It was upstairs. They had a porch out front.

I toured and it's lovely, and I loved it. The people there were nice, and it's clean. They serve meals three times a day, they have a dining hall downstairs, and they wash the linens and bed sheets. They have a nurse that will come and spend time with your parents, and they will help them with medication.

It was nice. They have a lot of people there and the worst part was the parking. They don't have assisted living. It's independent, but they have people that you can hire on a monthly basis to do what you need. The person during the tour was good. The dining area was fine and they have activity rooms. The apartments were a little bigger than in the other place we visited. They have to use elevators there. The staff was nice.

My mother will move in. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. The meal area and the food is very good based on feedback from residents. It seemed like a very nice place. Some of the residents enjoyed it, and so we've gotten very good feedback. We really like Mom's apartment; it will fit everything very well and has an outdoor porch. They have lots of activities and an activity calendar. They have a walking track around the facility.

It is not in a desirable location. It’s in a busy area that's not convenient. It’s not a big community, but the tour was OK. The staff was great, extremely friendly, helpful, and informative, but I didn’t like the building, the layout, or the area.

I liked everything. I liked the balcony and that they showed us the one-bedroom, twobedroom, and one that had a full kitchen. I don’t need that much space because I am living in a one-bedroom place now. They allow pets and have washers and dryers on every floor, but they also have housekeepers and people who come in to clean and do your laundry. They have a hairdresser and a nail person. There was a lady by the front door that was doing Christmas decorations on her fingernails and my friend that I went and got her fingernails done. It was really comfortable and really friendly. They have a nurse, and if you got sick, someone would come and take care of you, so you do not have to rely just on family. They would have medical people that could help.

I am really satisfied. Everybody there is friendly. My mom is satisfied. She likes it there. I like that there is staff there at all time just in case she has problems or she falls or something. They have a little life alert that they have in their apartment for their safety.

It was the place that I would probably like for myself, but it wasn't good for my sister. It was a very nice facility. The rooms were very nice, and I really liked it. I liked the people I met there. They were very friendly people. I liked the things that they had for the residents there. I liked the activities.

Mom lived here when she was still alive and she loved it. It's a really nice place. They have good food and good staff. She lived there for a little over 3 years. They have this life alert thing and that was great. They check their clients and if they don’t show up for breakfast, lunch, or dinner or if they don’t see them around during the day, they go and check on them. It's such a great place.

I chose here for my mom because I think it was better than an assisted living facility. I had private sitters that came to the place if I was not around and they documented everything. The staff were very helpful and supportive especially with the people who needed assistance. I liked that they had housekeeping once a week who cleaned the bathrooms, washed and change the linens, etc. They served three meals a day, but my mom also had a refrigerator and microwave in her room if she wanted to eat something else. Sometimes the food was not the best but it was still healthy. My mom is doing pretty well.
